Everything was great at the orange house!

This was one of my all-time favorite vacation rentals. Clean, comfortable, spacious, great views of Muskegon Lake, only 4 blocks from Pere Marquette Beach Park on Lake Michigan. Perfect for rest & relaxation. Stephanie was a great communicator & made staying in the house for a week easy and problem-free. A great value for the price.

The house was exactly what we saw in the pictures. It looked perfect and it was. Everything we needed for our stay including supplies for kitchen for cooking, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, an upstairs patio with a view and beside it an enclosed room to sit in if a little cool for the pAtio. Stephanie promptly returned our texts with any questions we had. Only a short drive or 10 minute walk to Pere Marquette beach and the beach was lovely. Huge expanse of sand and clean, clean, clean. Looking forward to next Labour Day weekend!

We loved our stay at The Orange House. Very clean and cozy home. Nice neighborhood, and it was nice to be able to walk to Pere Marquette Park. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the orange house! Everything was well stocked and had all the comforts of home. The deck and sunroom are the perfect spaces to relax and enjoy vacation time. Short walk to Pere Marquette beach and many more fun things to do in the area. This house is so special! We loved Muskegon, can’t wait to come back!!

We loved the “Orange House”! Beautiful and charming home with great views of Lake Muskegon in a great location. We stayed with my in-laws who are 85 and 82. My FIL, the 85 year old does not get around well and could not get up stairs to enjoy the view which we knew beforehand. He also struggled to get up the 5 steps together in the house, which we were concerned about. But if you are in reasonable health you should not have any issues. My wife and I would definitely stay here again if we get the chance. 2 days we saw a deer in the back yard. Every morning we had breakfast and coffee looking at Lake Muskegon listening to birds. The last day we got up early to witness a glorious sun rise. It was magical! Loved the “Orange House” AND the location. We highly would recommend it!

We were here for a funeral/celebration of life. Perfect setting for reflection, and sharing JoyFULL memories.. family from spring lake , saranac , Nevada & Florida and my GRANDchildren live just around the corner . So easy to walk to the Lake for awesome sunsets . Everything we needed and Lots of extras in the house . Beds were all very comfortable , even the sleeper sofas 😴💤 the deck was awesome…

We had a great stay at the orange house. Great location and property was very nice. Safe neighborhood and very close to Lake Michigan and lake muskegeon. Few hiccups were easily addressed quickly by the host. We would stay again!

Place was large, clean and everything was easy to use. Very close to the beach and boat dock. 2 separate living areas meant that our kids had their own and didn't need to us ours!

This home is beautiful and spacious. I flew in from Arizona to spend time with my son and his fiancé who are expecting their first child. My first grandson. The home was great for when they stayed over and did not feel cramped. The two living spaces were wonderful - lots of windows to let in the natural light. Exactly as described. Pere Marquette Beach Is literally about a 10 minute walk. It’s a really nice beach on Lake Michigan. Hosts were thoughtful enough to provide beach chairs and beach umbrella along with cornhole. Sat outside in the evenings on the upper deck. The neighborhood was very quiet, the only cars were from residents who live there. Loved every minute of my stay!! This really is the perfect lake house.! Thank you.

This house was so beautiful. My fiancé, brother, his fiancé and I stayed here for a long weekend for a friends wedding. It was a short 5 minute drive to the beach which we enjoyed twice. The beds were super comfortable and the house was clean. It was spacious with 2 separate living quarters. We will be back for sure!

This house is so great! My wife and I needed a change of scenery so we rented this place for a week and worked remotely. The house had plenty of space and it had everything we needed. The second floor on its own was pretty much perfect. We really enjoyed sitting up there in the evenings. The house is in a cute, quiet neighborhood and it was very easy to drive to downtown Muskegon or walk to Lake Michigan. The owner was very responsive when we had questions and they gave us a lot of other helpful information just before our trip. We'd definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone else!

Our week-long stay at the Orange House was awesome. Communication with the owners was easy, and they made themselves available for questions before/during the stay. The location is a super close to Lake Michigan and a very nice public beach. The house was exactly as pictured, and we had everything we needed (linens, towels, cookware, and even a few delicious treats!) This space was great for two couples but there is definitely room to sleep more. Second-floors deck space was an fantastic place to hang out at all times of day. We would definitely try to stay here again.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Orange House for a long week to get away from the city (Chicago) and socially distance somewhere else. We had never been to Muskegon before but were seeking a smaller town with the opportunity to hike, bike, beach and relax. Our experience here absolutely fit the bill! The house was gorgeous and perfect for our needs. We loved the decor and how the spaces were used—so comfortable, warm and inviting. All of the necessities were readily available, and we felt like we had everything we needed. We loved the attention to detail and the homey feel throughout. Having separate spaces to eat, play games, lounge and read helped us feel completely relaxed. We spent each morning in the sun room, sitting in the rockers and drinking our coffee, and spent tons of time on the second-floor porch—drinking wine, reading and watching the sun rise. The reading nook was one of my wife's favorite spaces, and we spent lots of time reading there, which was so nice. We cooked many meals in the kitchen and used the grill multiple times as well. Muskegon itself was a great area to visit—the beach was so close and easy to bike or walk to, and we appreciated the umbrella, chairs and fluffy beach towels that were provided. We biked all over and the paths made it so easy. Stephanie was a wonderful host—she was responsive and so helpful from the start, offering recommendations for the area and being in easy contact during the week. We highly recommend the Orange House and will absolutely consider a future stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, comfortable and inviting with wonderful decor. The location was perfect - right on the inland lake and a very short walk to a clean and spacious beach on Lake Michigan. We really enjoyed the reasonable drive to multiple parks which had great trails for hiking. We will definitely remember this rental for future trips!

All necessary items of vacation living made property feel like home. Everyone could come together in the common areas, yet had space for private time.

The house is described accurately, but seeing it in person lets you experience the wonderful character of the house. Our large family recently stayed at the Orange House and found a gem located close to the beach in Muskegon, MI. We appreciated the 2 living areas which were perfect for our older children to have a space upstairs. The house is roomy, and has lots of space for your family. It is a quick drive to the Muskegon public beach, and you are close to the wonderful charm of Muskegon. Kitchen was fully equipped, loved the orange dishes and coffee cups. Large dining table was perfect for family meals and evening card games. Plenty of comfortable beds. Multiple TV's available. The house is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. A quick walk down the block to enjoy sunrise and views of beautiful lake Muskegon. We hope to make this a family tradition.
