Breakfast is brilliant

Breakfast was excellent!

The hotel is good for the price. It's comfortable. It's an old soviet looking hotel so in a way adds to the experience. It's behind Republic Square so walkable distance to everything. The bed was comfortable. The room was well-equipped and clean. I didn't use the services such as the gym or pool area.

The breakfast room needs to be upgraded and the bread served wasn't fresh.

Everything, the rooms are spacious

The location was really nice, walking distance to most destinations we were interested in.

The staff had no idea what customer service meant. The servers at the restaurant were just rude, one morning a lady just came up and turned the knob on the espresso machine to make it weaker while I was already making espresso. When I told her I was already making coffee and she was messing it up she gave me a dirty look and informed me that the coffee I was making was too strong. Another morning we woke up to no water, and the girl at the front desk just said “ the entire city has no water, get used to it” . We ended up walking to Marriott a few minutes away where my sister was staying and showering there. Our water didn’t come back until that evening. I understand that emergencies happen, but the hotel staff needs to be trained on how to talk to people and how to handle emergencies.

It's not my first visit to this hotel, so i knew what to expect. But this time it was really awesome due to the attitude of staff! My mom had Birthday and during the booking i just informed the staff here. And we got a great plate of fruits and some candies, it was unexpected and very cool! Thanks a lot, I'll return here again;)

I did not like some of the reception's behavior, some of them were helpful and some of them super rude, we need to extend our stay day by day and every day, it feels like I'm renting from those receptionist not from the hotel, they extend our stay so reluctantly. It is expensive in comparison to other hotels like Hilton with much more amenities and much better service.
