A-frame Lakefront Cabin near Spring River
Cabine rustique en A, nichée le long de la rive du lac privé Kiwanie. Situé dans une ancienne station balnéaire rustique qui n'a rien perdu de son charme et de sa beauté. Profitez de flotter ou de pêcher sur notre lac privé. Détendez-vous et admirez les images et les sons de la nature sur le pont; si près du lac, vous pouvez lancer votre ligne de pêche par-dessus la rambarde! Si vous souhaitez vous approcher encore plus près de l'eau, un quai flottant est à votre disposition.
Deux kayaks sont inclus dans la location pour une utilisation sur notre lac. Cherokee Village, Main Street Hardy, la Spring River et de nombreux autres équipements sont à quelques minutes en voiture:
-Visitez le pub Griffin situé à l'extrémité du quartier pour y déguster de la nourriture, des boissons, un karaoké et une piscine.
-Profitez des routes de montagne sinueuses avec des vues spectaculaires sur la vallée de la rivière.
- Visitez notre parc national Griffin Park, situé de l'autre côté de la rivière, pour une multitude d'activités en plein air, notamment une tyrolienne, une balade à cheval et bien d'autres.

Best place to go! Our second time staying and will definitely be back! Our kids loved it and so did we! They caught a ton of fish and swam and roasted smores! My father which is disabled even caught some off the dock and deck of the house! Worth every penny! Words just can’t explain the experience we had!

Myself, my husband, and my father in law came out fir Easter weekend. The property is as described in the listing. We did not encounter any issues. Nice and quiet right on the water. We were able to do plenty of fishing off the dock and right off the deck. We really enjoyed our stay!!!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Bluegill Bungalow. It was clean, cozy and had wonderful views. It was a nice getaway! Perfect size for just the two of us. We will book again!!

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin on a private lake. It was a great location for us since we were driving to various hiking locations in northern Arkansas and southern Missouri. Check in was super easy with the keypad entry. The views of the lake were beautiful in the morning & evening.

This was a Wonderful place to stay. After work I would enjoy the evening on the deck watching the ducks and fish. The deck is literally at the edge of the water.
Cabin is very clean with everything you need.

It is very close to town, but you feel like you are in the deep woods on a beautiful lake.

This cabin is clean, well stocked and maintained. The stay was wonderful. We fished and caught bluegills, bass, and catfish. (19 total) we hungbout and watched the game and just relaxed. Water is hot. The bed is comfortable. The host was great with communication. We will definitely return!!!!

Absolutely gorgeous it’s so peaceful. We enjoyed standing on the balcony, watching the fish and cooking out doing and doing s’mores. The Netflix was amazing. The bed was super comfortable upstairs and we are looking forward to coming back again. We enjoyed going to the water at the hardy river and taking a swim there were so many different places to swim. the cabin was absolutely gorgeous and amazing. It was super clean.

Husband and I been visiting Hardy every year for 14yrs.. This cabin was excellent for us. Enjoyed the lake view and feeding the fish and ducks. Also just a few minutes drive to go trout fishing—-Huge Plus for us!!

Best friend’s enjoyed a weekend away before school starts back. The house is cute and in the perfect location. Drinking coffee on the porch while watching wildlife was the best part! The kids kayaked and the mom’s tied our tubes together and lounged in the lake. It was a fun weekend!

Great stay. In fact, this place altered our weekend getaway. We originally planned to play in the Spring River but found everything we needed at the cabin. Checking in/out was a breeze.
The lake water was very clear and if you were standing on the deck looking down you had the perfect aquarium view. Many fish and turtles were visible below the surface and really interesting to watch.
Had a great meal at the Corner Booth cafe, found a couple treasures shopping, and enjoyed all the wildlife local to the cabin.
It was quiet, cool, and charming.

The bungalow was absolutely adorable. Sleeping was very comfortable and the house was quite accommodating for a long weekend. We enjoyed our stay with visiting the town of Hardy, fishing and hanging out in the Spring River. Would stay here again for another little get away!

Quiet, peaceful setting. My husband enjoyed fishing. We both enjoyed sitting on the deck and dock watching the fish near shore, turtles and ducks. Nice charcoal grill.
Gravel road this is on is steep; even our 2wd truck was challenged.It’s one lane. We met a vehicle coming from the other direction and had to stop on the hill. Tried to resume going up and couldn’t; had to back down the hill, let car come down then go back up. Don’t believe a car without AWD would do well unless they got “ a running start “.

Check in was amazing, had a little cleaning of dishes to do, but my wife is a little more OCD about those things than i am. It is definitely named correctly, we caught pleanty of brimm, and a couple of nice sized turtles, my oldest son did catch 1 bass. Well worth everything, it was a perfect get away to me.

This property is well maintained and has all the conveniences you need for a relaxing getaway. It’s private, would not say secluded. Great communication from our host and no issues to note. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place. My husband and I spent the weekend here and couldn't be more pleased with how our stay went. We just relaxed all weekend, occasionally fishing from either the dock or the kayaks provided by our hosts. The accommodations were very comfortable and exactly as described and the cabin was clean and ready for us to move in for the weekend upon arrival. Our hosts were also kind enough to send us plenty of information regarding how to get to the cabin and even more info about local areas we could visit while we were in town. We miss it already and will definitely book again.

Nice little stay
In my wife's words, the most relaxing trip she's ever had. Everything is depicted properly and honestly doesn't do it justice as far as just being able to sit on the couch and watch the lake. My wife enjoyed kayaking around the lake and catching bass. Bluegill, red ear, perch are very common just off the dock. Trout fishing isn't too far away with Spring river. I recommend dam 1 at Mammoth or dam 3 for a more secluded spot. The rental was clean and the main bed was very comfortable. Out of our little get away trips, this one has been the best.

I love this little cabin. I didn’t fish but I saw bass and bream swimming around and a lot of turtles. I also had a daily visit from a squirrel eating acorns off the deck. I also had one visit from a huge groundhog. I took pictures through the patio door. I had never seen a groundhog in person. It was awesome! The cabin itself was furnished and stick very nicely and bed was comfortable. I highly recommend!!!

Great little getaway
The property was ideally located, tucked away a bit next to a lake but still close to restaurants, outfitters, and the town in general. Instructions provided prior to arrival were very clear and everything at the cabin was provided as promised. Wifi worked well. House temp was comfortable. I would definitely stay again. Very relaxing
Great experience.the house was lovely.when you open the doors all you see is the lake.you can see the fish swimming around from the deck.the geese and ducks come around when they hear you outside but they move on. the fishing dock is in a good spot. Didn't want to leave the view. Justus was a great host.

Good stay.. It was "Ok"
Place was nice. Well maintained. Very clean. Picture advertised makes the property seem more "private" than it is. Its far from private. Peer is not as long as it seemed in pics. We had a total of 5, says it will sleep 6. However only a full size bed (2people) and 1 twin bed (1 person).. The pics showed a futon on 1st level, but no futon at our stay. The couch had a pull out bed but was so flimsy feeling and dirty, I just put it back and slept on couch itself which is very narrow to sleep on. The recliner felt like there was ZERO padding in the areas needed for relaxing.... the places on the "recommendation" to eat were not the greatest. Service was lacking in a huge way, food wait times were long, and food was a 4 out of 10. Best meal of the week was on our departcher at CORNER BOOTH. Food was amazing and service was great. Last thing... the restraunt beside the rental peoperty... the GRILL, is practically a biker bar. Little disappointing since its within walking distance of your stay. Its not appropriate for a family dinner.
I give this place a decent raiting due to it being well kept up... but I prob wont stay again. As the dad its hard to sleep on uncomfortable furniture, have terrible service at the recommended locations, and not being as private as I anticipated...

Nice little cabin
We enjoyed our stay, while the cabin isn't very large it is quite comfortable. During the day you can hear the traffic going by up on the highway. Come evening time though all you can hear is nature. The road in and out is as others described, a bit rough. A fellow showed up to grade while we were there, he removed most of the bumps (rocks) but made the gravel loose, so it exchanged one problem for another.
The kayaks float, so that was a good thing, I took a spin around the lake, which turns out is not very deep. It has a few fish in it though, we caught bluegill in the mornings and evenings fishing from the floating dock.
All in all we enjoyed our stay, not a lot to do in Hardy, Highland and Ash Flat aren't that far away, neither is Mammoth Spring (Spring River origin) or Thayer Missouri for that matter.
Bluegill Bungalow is a great place to sit and relax, I would definitely recommend to small groups.
