Perfect home on Otis Lake with plenty of room for a group of friends to gather. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils, pots/pans, dishes to make a nice meal. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of outdoor furniture to gather near the fire pit by the lake. Keurig coffee maker available to make coffee in the morning. Nice and quiet, felt very private. Plenty of room for parking. Thanks for letting us rent.

Me and the 3 other guys in my band rented the lakehouse for a long weekend and it was perfect for us. Beautiful location, plenty of room, and very comfortable. The owners were very communicative and helpful. Hope to do it again next year.

House was very clean . Nice open floor plan. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds with 2 on main floor. however there are not 4 private bedrooms. The upstairs sleeps 6 however you have to walk through a bedroom to get to the next one or the bathroom. Okay for a family but not for adults.The grill was not clean enough to use. However the sunset on the deck very nice and it was quite peaceful

Loved the location by the water and plenty room for our group of 6 adults + 2 kids. It was very easy to communicate with Marshal. My problem was with the kitchen, no room whatsoever for our own supplies in kitchen cabinets, also the freezer part of the refrigerator really need a good cleaning.

We found this house to have a perfect layout, with an open layout on the main floor that overlooks the lake, a basement for the kids to hang out, and plenty of space for our two families for a weekend. Overall, the house was clean and well kept. The only insight I would add is that the house is not depersonalized and it feels like you are in someone else's living space for the weekend, with lots of family photos around, food in the cabinets and refrigerator/freezer, and many personal items around. Just mentioning that if you like to have more of a hotel feel. Other than that, getting in and out was very easy with the host. The location was decent for seeing the Berkshire sites (30-40 minutes to get to pretty much everything). Likely a great place to have fun on the lake during the summer, but too cold on our trip.

Our group of old friends loved the location, the wall of windows, the access to water activities, and the game / TV room. We were comfortable and appreciated the cooking and grilling equipment. It was a wonderful weekend, and our hosts were helpful and responsive. Many thanks!

Plenty to do with ping pong, darts, pool table, movies, canoeing and kayaking, jumping off floating dock. Weather was chilly with sun a couple days, other days Lake choppy and very windy so boats weren’t as enjoyable as if normal summer weather. Beautiful views, comfy beds and furniture. Plenty of space for a large family reunion. Otis has remained the small quiet town it was 60 years ago when we owned property on the lake on the Tolland side. I got my Otis fix and still feel it is my piece of heaven whenever I return. I gave 5 stars as home was spacious for our large family gathering. My only suggestion was the closets, drawers, cabinets and freezer were full of food and clothing. The freezer was packed full of food, no ice maker and only one steak knife. We managed but we ended up leaving grocery items on counter. On the plus side we had a full cabinet of spices, plenty of paper towels and toilet paper. The kids jumped in the water even though chilly temps 60-70 and enjoyed the canoe and kayaks.

The home accommodated our party of 5 adults well. The common areas gave us space to congregate, talk in small groups or altogether, and the basement TV room allowed for separation of TV watchers and those not interested. The bedrooms worked for everyone's required privacy. The location is very nice and the views of the lake are great.
Our rating reflects cleanliness and house operational issues encountered during our stay. We discussed these with the host and understand that a new cleaning service was just engaged, and obviously did not work out. The operational issues were mostly known to the host and most are scheduled to be repaired.

Best place to vacation
My family had a great time at this beautiful home. It had everything we needed for a perfect vacation; comfortable beds & a well stocked kitchen. We had fun using the pool & ping pong tables. The view of the water from the house is simply amazing. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, & using the little beach near the house. The owner was quick to respond to texts. Nice place to relax
Our family had a nice time at this house on Otis Reservoir. The view out the living room windows was wonderful. We also very much enjoyed the pool table in the basement.
I give this 4 stars only because much of the house is dated. Everything works but it appears as if nothing has been upgraded for quite some time.

Heaven is a little closer in a House on a Lake!
Our family stayed there as an after Christmas getaway. Just rest and relaxation enjoying quality time during this time of COVID. My son's family with my 2 year old grandson and my daughter. Amble room for all, great view of Otis lake, short drive to Stockbridge. The only bad part of the vacation was my son dominating me in billiards, darts and ping pong. This has never happen!!!!! I must be getting old. Highly Recommend.

Comfortable Lake House
This is a comfortable home with plenty of room for families. It has a beautiful view of the lake from a large living room. We were there in the winter and enjoyed playing games (there are many on hand) and pool in the downstairs game room. We spent a day Christmas shopping in Great Barrington, about 30 minutes away. It would be a lovely place to be in the summer, too.

A very comfortable property with a killer reservoir view. Marshal was very accommodating about our request for early check-in. The house would easily accommodate a crowd, but it was also quite comfortable and cozy for just the two of us, staying on one level. So much natural beauty in the area. We had a lovely stay.

It was a very nice property with plenty of space for three generations! It was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the water and a large deck. It was great for the kids, aged 3 and 6, with plenty of games and DVDs. Not much space for clothes since drawers and closets were pretty full with owners' clothes. I like to cook so would have appreciated some newer pots and pans. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit. The cabin was spacious and had all the amenities advertised. Thank you!

Serenity and Seclusion
The photos don’t even capture how spectacular it is to have a beautiful view of the water just steps away. The surrounding trees create a sense that it is only you. The house is great and Marshall was in touch with a quick response to all our questions. Highly recommend!
