We had a fantastic week in Barnegat Light, which we think is the best place on LBI. The beach is gorgeous and the house has it all… a heated saltwater pool, hot tub and pool house in the backyard. From the rooftop deck, you can see the ocean, the bay and the lighthouse. The house has an elevator and the host installed grab bars in the master bath shower, making the house accessible. We give the house a five-star rating. Many thanks to Steve, the owner of this great house!

This house was, for our purposes, “perfect” - an opinion broached by all our kids and grandkids who accompanied us. My wife and I, both natives of New Jersey who have lived most of our lives in Kentucky, wanted to give our kids and grandkids, who call Ohio, Illinois, and Virginia home, a “Jersey Shore” experience, and, at the same time, host a gathering of our siblings and many cousins scattered across Jersey. Our schedules dictated the first week in June, a time we knew the beach would not be guarded (guards arrive mid-June) and the water a bit chilly; however this house offered table tennis in the garage, a heated in-ground pool, a hot-tub, a sandy stretch to the side of the house ideal for corn hole, hammocks, chairs and tables spread over an ample paved section of the yard, and a “Man Cave,” replete with a large frig, a pool table, shuffle board, and a toilet. All our crew who ranged in age from 10 to 81 made ample use of the house’s many amenities, and, despite being there early in the season, the beach. Rip tides were an issue, so no swimming without guards, but lots of kicking about the surf, kite flying, ball playing - and we had the beach entirely to ourselves. The back yard with its Man Cave, paved area, and ample chairs, tables, and umbrellas was ideal for our Family Gathering that brought together, including the fourteen of us staying at the house, fully seventy folks, many of whom suggested a future gathering at the same place. We hope to do so.

Great home that was a perfect blend of comfort , fun on site with the grand pool house , salt water pool and hot tub all right in the backyard. A beautiful walk to the beach with ample cozy beach chairs to use. We loved having our ping pong , pool table and dart competitions. The host was always quick to answer our concerns/questions and wanted to ensure we had what we needed and enjoyed our time in his home . Would definitely go back !!!

A wonderful weekend with friends; great weather and accommodations. Steve allowed an early check-in and later checkout time. Working with Steve was a pleasure.

Great location and size of home was perfect. A few negative comments. The pool heater did not work the first 3 days. It was repaired on day 4 but based on the cost of the rental having it repaired sooner even at higher cost would have been reasonable. The weather was cool that week and the water was cold. Some of the furnishings could be improved but it did not detract from the excellent time my family had. Overall we had a great family vacation.

This was a great house for us to vacation together with our 2 children, their spouses and kids age 12, 9 and 10 months. It’s close to the beach, and has something for everyone. We particularly enjoyed hanging out with the kids by the pool when they came back from the beach and eating together on the upstairs deck. Also, the owner was extremely responsive and easy to deal with..

Back yard pool, hot tub, firepit and man cave were a huge hit with my family.

My husband and I, our kids and grandkids had a wonderful week. The house is well appointed, has a wonderful pool, ping-pong table and man cave with a pool table and shuffleboard. Convenient bathroom for the kids in the pool. Right down the street from a convenience store!! Very close to the walkway to the beach. Elevator was a life saver for us grandparents!! Quiet street. Tremendous chandelier over the dining room table. We loved the backyard area to hang out with our kids and the grandkids were watching a movie close by outside. A perfect family house!!! Mr Russo was very helpful and answered all my texts!!

This house was wonderful! We had enough space to spread out but also enough space to hang out together! The locations was perfect!

We loved this house!!! Rooms were great sizes and the backyard was perfect! The pool was amazing. We had a great time in the pool house as well. Steve was a pleasure to deal with and was a great communicator! He checked in a couple times and was very informative! The location of this house is perfect! We had a great time!!

The property lived up to and exceeded our expectations. Great location and easy access to beach. Owner is easy to work with and a great communicator. The house is spacious and comfortable. We loved the backyard and all the amenities. We are loyal fans of LBI but this was our first time staying in Barnegat Light. We had such a great experience we plan to stay at this property again in the future!

We had not seen our son and daughter-in-law for two years due to Covid (daughter-in-law is Emergency Department doc in Maine). In that time, my husband was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and had 2 strokes. I rented this property as a way of connecting but we only had a weekend as she had to be back in Maine because they are short- handed. This property had everything we needed for a quality getaway. The elevator was crucial. The rooms were plenty and pleasant. Extended family came by to say “hello” and eat a home cooked meal in a dining room that was spacious enough to hold everyone. Kitchen lends itself to cooking and talking and no one felt excluded. Owner was very easy to work with. We left on Monday with photos and memories that will have to hold us over until the next time.

The property owner Steve was extremely responsive to all my emails. Steve was so generous to allow my family access to the property a day earlier at 12 noon. My mom 89 loved the house elevator, fire pit and Tikki bar. All other family members enjoyed the Man cave with the pool table, darts and ping pong table. The hot tub was a big hit. The house was roomy for all 10 people. The bathrooms were clean. I gave Steve a list of some house repairs that were needed ( e.g. the pool’s heater was not working) and he was grateful for my feedback and and is committed to exceeding his guests expectations.

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful beach house. We honestly didn’t have to leave the house because it accommodated all of our needs. We absolutely loved the pool house and backyard. The pool house was full of fantastic history and entertainment - we loved it! So many awesome things to do - you’ll never be bored! Owner was extremely easy to work with and replied quickly to any questions regarding our stay.

Wonderful house with places for everyone to do their own thing and visit at the dining room table for meals. Loved the pool, pool table, hot tub and proximity to the beach. Fulfilled a long awaited family reunion at our traditional Barnegat Light location. We had a blast and will return for sure!

This property is fantastic! There was plenty of room for the entire family of 12, ranging in age from 10 months to 85 yrs. Can’t say enough about the outdoor area and the pool house. This was our favorite spot since we only made to the beach two days. The owner could not have been more helpful! We will definitely be returning!

We chose to stay local for Thanksgiving but still wanted a place to escape everyday norms and this house fit the bill! Our first time in Barnegat and we will return! House is as described, plenty of space for 10 of us to spread out but still be together.

My family and I rented this property for a long weekend. The location, the atmosphere and our all around experience was awesome ! The owner of the property was awesome to receptive to all my questions and our overall experience was so amazing !

This home is the perfect spot to relax and have fun! There was plenty of room and the kids were entertained (even when it rained) with all of the games- pool, shuffle board, ping pong, darts... The views were amazing and the beach was so relaxing. Thank you Steve for providing us with such a great beach house!

We rented this house for a long weekend and we had a great time. The pool and the hot tub were lots of fun for all. The house has a pool house in the back with a pool table and games, so the fun never stops ! We will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beach house! It had plenty of space for our large group of 14. The outdoor area was amazing, we spent most of our time hanging out in the yard with the heated saltwater pool, the hot tub, pool house and large sandy area. The path to the beach is close and once you walk through the dunes, the beach is beautiful and not crowded at all. The Barnegat Light area is very quiet and low key. The owner Steve was very nice and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Our large extended family very much enjoyed staying at this house for the week. There was enough room for us all to enjoy time together, as well as find some alone time when needed! We enjoyed all of the amenities this property had to offer, such as the pool, hot tub, fire pit, and full kitchen/dining area. The location was awesome. A very quite area. Just a very short walk to the beach and a short drive to Barnegat Lighthouse or to the southern part of the island. The owner was extremely responsive to any questions both before and during our stay. We are looking forward to staying at this property again next year!

The house is beautiful! Big enough to have everyone in your family but, big enough you don't have to see them. We had the nicest time hanging out cooking in the oversized kitchen. Cocktails by the heated pool. Looking at the stars and the beach on roof top deck. The hot tub was the perfect way to end the day after a bike ride or walk through the dunes. Steve was also very nice and always answered his phone if you needed help with anything. One of the nicest perks was Whites a little market about a block away you could walk to. Best white corn and pies. I will definitely go back here in a heart beat. Sunrise and Sunset were worth it alone. Thanks Steve great time.

Stephen’s beach house is a great property in a great location. The Barnegat Light area was a wonderful place to relax, and is not too crowded. The house was just as advertised and is perfect for a group. We had 12 people plus two babies and had plenty of room. There are plenty of places to hang out, both inside and out. The top roof deck is accessible through the master bedroom, and is a great place to watch the sunset. The hot tub and pool are nice additions, and there are numerous hammocks and other decks that let you hang out outside. There is enough kitchen stuff to easily make your own meals, which we did several times. The elevator is useful for getting groceries up to the top floor kitchen. The house is definitely showing a little bit of wear, but that is to be expected for a place that is boooked as frequently as it is. Also note that you have to bring your own sheets, and beach and bath towels. We had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Great getaway location. Man cave for, well, you know how family gatherings can go! All you need is there. like being on the NC outer banks right here in Jersey.

Excellent for large groups. Many comfortable bedrooms. Many bathrooms. Accommodated 15 people easily, including an elderly mother, who required the use of the elevator to get around. Hot tub and pool set the place apart from others. Man-cave outside of the pool was a great touch, complete with refrigerator and bathroom. Short walk to quiet manned beach. Had bicycles to use. The decks and the grills were well-suited to outside eating. Considered many places, but glad we selected this one, and would again. It's not every year we venture there, but we would gladly return here. Owner responds to all inquiries almost as soon as they are written. Class experience and operation from start to finish. Almost forgot -- was able to bring the dog, which was one of the beginning criteria of places, in addition to being handicap-friendly.

The house was in beautiful shape - presented online exactly as is. The amenities offered in the back yard are great, the pool house is an awesome place to hang out, and there's plenty of space for a large group. The house is a perfect off-season get away with plenty of things to do if the beach is too windy. Thanks to Steve for accommodating such a great stay, can't wait to get back there one day soon!

Three generations of siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and so much love filled this beautiful home. First generation of the crew, long passed away, owned a home on LBI where we all grew up coming to. This was a chance to visit our past and celebrate the present! We couldn't have done it without the elevator to get 6 very elderly people upstairs! The pool house and garage gaming were the perfect escape from cooking and clean up...great place for the "kids" of all ages to play a little. Home is well appointed, owner very responsive and location ideal. Very well equipped kitchen and huge variety of bed sizes to accommodate everyone. The island is beautiful in off season, and traffic lights are blinking so from the Causeway to Barnegat is only 12 minutes. We did not use pool or hot tub, but they would be a nice amenity during summer months. Overall, great beach house! Unanimous vote to come back in two years when we all get together again!

We had a large group of adults that fit in the house very comfortably! The house was equipped with plenty of fun activities to keep us busy the whole weekend. The owner was very responsive when we needed him. The only thing we were a little disappointed in was the pool because the heat wasn't working and it wasn't filtering well (but it didn't stop us from having fun). When we told the owner, he was very apologetic. Besides that, there were no complaints and our guests were really impressed with the house! We will definitely be coming back!!!

My family and I had a great time at this awesome beach house. It has a heated pool that lights up at night, a pool house with lots of games and a tiki bar with its own sandy beach and fire pit. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful, answering all our questions and accommodating us whenever he could. The kitchen is well lit and modern and well stocked with modern appliances and amenities. The house is gorgeous and a short walk to the beach. The roof deck offers great views of the ocean as well as the afternoon sunsets over the bay. My family looks forward to renting this house next year.
