Everything about our stay was perfect! The house was spotless and had everything we wanted/needed. It definitely had the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen! The snack basket was greatly appreciated by everyone, such a nice touch. Tanya was the perfect host, so helpful and kind. We will be renting the house again for sure.

We loved staying at the Jackson beach house. It was clean and spacious, the ad pictures didn’t do it justice. The yard is perfect for lounging and to enjoy a fire, the beach is a quick walk down the road - perfect stay, wish it was longer.

Mark and Tanya provide an excellent home with all the necessities. Comfortable beds, lots of kitchen supplies - we were celebrating a wedding close by and it was fantastic to have such a well equipped and comfortable home to stay in. The house is modern, very tasteful and bright and open. The close proximity to the lake is appealing as well - I would definitely stay there in the summer!

We love this cabin and have been going every summer for the last 3 years. The hosts, Tanya and Mark, are fantastic. The communicate very quickly. The cabin is clean and comes with everything that you need. Highly recommend.

Was a great stay! Cabin was beautiful and in a great location. Very clean!

We appreciated the property being clean and tidy upon our arrival. Lots of room for us all especially for dining. The upstairs was very welcoming for the children with us and they certainly appreciated the toys and books. Outdoors we enjoyed the nice deck, barbeque, and fire pit. The only disappointment was seeing only a forty foot beach for public use with each side of that having signs posted stating private beach, no entry. The walk to the main beach is not strenuous for moderately heathy adults. We walked that twice on Saturday to enjoy the beach and the downtown area. We would all definitely like to stay there again.

This property is very nice. All the pictures in the listing are accurate. The sleeping areas are excellent. We have never been in a unit that is so well appointed. We were 6 adults and four toddlers and there was plenty of room and the layout allowed the kids lots of room to play. The hosts responded quickly and were able to accommodate special requests. Seven of us ladies, (being best friends for over 40 years) had an amazing weekend getaway, meeting in Sylvan Lake and renting this beautiful spacious home!!! There was so much room for us to enjoy each others company….visiting, cooking, eating & laughing! Such a memorable weekend, & we will definitely try to stay here again!! Comfortable beds, and lovely decor with a kitchen that has everything you need!! A great location, and a beautiful walk into downtown Sylvan Lake for shopping.

Exactly what we were looking for, for a family getaway. It met all our needs, plus we got to do a little ice fishing along with that.

We did our annual girls trip in Sylvan. This location was great and the kitchen was well stocked. We had eight ladies and had plenty of room for morning coffee and visits!

Good location, a little tricky to get in at first but thankfully the owner was there to help us. The cabin is close to a few smaller less busy beaches. It is very spacious and was great for our family of 6. The kitchen was generally well stocked, except for a few more utensils (forks/spoons), pizza cutter and an XL baking pan would have been great:)The rest of the house was well stocked (toilet paper, soap, towels, sheets, shampoo) which we appreciated! The washer/dryer was not working for a few days before our arrival. Communication about this from the owner before we came would’ve been nice as I would’ve packed a few more clothes for our little ones. There was a suggestion to go to a laundromat (on our dime) if we needed, but it’s not exactly where I want to spend my time on holidays. We were woken up much earlier than we wanted to be, to let the washing machine repair guy in. Which unfortunately couldn’t even be fixed at that time. Knowing that there wasn’t any AC we brought a portable fan with us. There was one fan there already, but just as a friendly suggestion I think that more fans would be appreciated by future guests. They do have large windows which cooled off the house during the August evenings when we were there. But, I didn’t feel comfortable leaving them open at night especially having small children sleep on the main floor. The owners camp in the backyard, but were respectful of our privacy. Overall, despite a few inconveniences, it was a nice, clean place to stay.

Lovely, well stocked home and a great deck with fire pit in the front yard. My three sisters and I stayed for our annual sisterhood and would definitely recommend this location. Thank you!

Our first impressions of the house was very good. The home is much larger person than the pictures show. Plenty of room in the home for our trip. Lots of items in the kitchen and there was never a shortage of plates, cups, etc. The front yard is fantastic and the kids loving hanging out by the fire! Between the patio furniture and table the front yard is perfect! The beach is around the corner however the public portion is rather disappointing. Certainly not what i expected. The main strip of Sylvan Lake is a little far from the home and not within walking distance. We had to drive everytime. We would definitely stay here again!

This is our third time staying at the house. It is a quiet neighbourhood that is only a short 20 minute walk to restaurant row on the lakeshore. The vaulted living room and kitchen, along with very good size bedrooms, make this a spacious house that was comfortable for 8 people. If you need firewood or snacks, the convenience store and gas station is only a half block away.

What a beautiful little home! Four bedrooms made it perfect for two families. Pretty close to the beach and other amenities. The owners did a great job communicating and welcoming us to the property. Would definitely stay again!
