A propos de ce cottagerental
A luxury apartment with a breathtaking sea view

The villa was everything we hoped for and more. Spacious, with all the amenities, the view from the patio is breath-taking. There were days we just enjoyed the sun and warmth and view for a relaxing day. Massimo was so helpful and the restaurants and Island activities he recommended were excellent. Lots of restaurants within walking distance but peace and quiet and tranquility when you are at the villa. I would rate this whole trip 10/10 if I could.

Massimo 's place on Ischia is 5 stars and him and his wife Anna provided best in class check in process. They both greeted my wife an I upon arrival and gave us a comprehensive review of their place and recommendations of places to eat and things to do. Il Giardino was a great recommendation for pizza. All you need is within walking distance. I would go back to this island oasis again and again. Thanks again Massimo and Anna.

We had the most
wonderful stay for our anniversary at this lovely home. Massimo was by far the best host we've ever encountered. He personally greeted us at the home (and coordinated a time in advance to make sure we met) and went over everything in amazing detail. He shared great insight into the island (things to do, how to rent a car/scooter, where to eat, bus schedule/maps, etc.). We were so grateful! Massimo was very communicative during our stay. He was very available and approachable. He truly made us feel like we were at a home for vacation.
The house speaks for itself. The view is just breathtaking. The area is extremely quiet. It is truly the perfect evening to sit on the patio and just enjoy the view with a glass of wine and some snacks. The house is extremely well-appointed, there is everything you need to make your stay comfortable. It was so nice to have the kitchen well-stocked and no dire need to go to the grocery to get things like napkins, soap, shampoo, etc. The house feels like a calming oasis after sight-seeing all day.
The walk to Ischia Ponte is very easy and the bus does come every 30mins or so. The bus is extremely easy and everyone is very willing to help. We rented a car for a few days at the end of the trip because it was helpful to get around a little quicker to locations further away vs using the bus.
If Massimo would have us, we would love to stay again! Thank you so much for helping us celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary!!

Ideal appartment for spectacular views and ideal for a family of adults. Good bus route, better with car. Quieter part of town, restaurant and spa's close by.

Once again our stay at Massimo and Anna’s was incredible. Everything they provide, in addition to their well kept home, made our stay relaxing and worry free. It goes without saying that the view is do die for!!! So many breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. It’s quiet, away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get where you want with no hassle. We will return as often as possible.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay visiting our relatives in Ischia. The property is clean and exceptionally well stocked. The communication with the owners was terrific. The views and truly breathtaking. We visit Ischia often and this is by far one of the best experiences. Thank you!

Our stay in this apartment was absolutely wonderful. The place itself is exceptional with a back door view of the castle! The neighborhood is great and the busses stop right in front of the house. Massimo and Ana are uncommonly helpful, organized, and warm. Best experience yet with Yeni and we’ve had some great ones. My only fear is if word gets out it will be harder for us to spend a month next year. The whole experience was artfully done. Bravo!

Incredible stay, beautiful and serene; worth 3X the price
Massimo and Anna live in Naples and this is their 'country' home. It is spectacular. Anna took the ferry from Naples to welcome us and then took it back. Who would do that? Most people living that far away would just have a lock box with a key in it and leave it at that. That in itself tells you what lovely, caring hosts they are. Their place is totally adequate, but what sets it apart is the view from their terrace. Top 1/10 of 1% in the world. Anna apologized that someone had built a castillo on an island right in front of the terrace that obscured our view to the sea. Yes. A 1500 year old castillo. It was spellbinding. You will never tire of that view. Ischia, should you care to venture out, is a very special place. Beautiful for sure, but also loaded with thermal spas where you can soak it all up. I recommend at least a week at this place. Also, I recommend renting a car which can be had for as little as $35 euros a day. Ischia a very special place indeed. 5 Star. And Anna and Massimo's place is the best place to enjoy Ischia. Thank you so much for the privilege of staying at your beautiful place. Mary & Ed

Just as promised.
We were delighted with the property. Everything was wonderful and we would highly recommend this place. It is a walk from town but we knew that and enjoyed the peace and quiet versus our friends that stayed in town. At night we could even hear the water. Well worth the walk.

Ischia is paradise!
We had a wonderful time staying at this property! It is located close to the castle and the sweet small town of Ischia Ponte. You can walk there in 15-20 minutes, but it is downhill and back up. That’s how you get the beautiful view-because it is up high! We rented a car, which was necessary to see all the other beautiful spots on the island. We really didn’t see the bus go by very often, so it didn’t seem very convenient. You can rent a car at the port, so it’s a good idea to do this when you get off the ferry. We loved Negombo and Poseidon thermal spas. We also loved towns of Lacco Ameno and Forio. The San Francisco beach was beautiful. The weather at this point in the year was perfect! And it was not crowded.
Massimo was great at communicating and his daughter, Valeria was very nice in explaining everything in the apartment to us. There is a traditional espresso maker in the apartment that is typical of the area, but somewhat frustrating to us as Americans used to automatic coffee makers. We adjusted by going to the bar at the end of the street for coffee and a beautiful view of the sea! This apartment was quite lovely and Ischia is a place of dreams!

Beautiful but uphill
In most ways, this is a wonderful vacation rental. The condo is beautiful and fully appointed, the grounds are lovely, the terrace and view are breathtaking, the owners are very nice and there is a bus into Ischia Porto that stops right in front of the building.
But it's helpful to understand that it is a 15+ minute walk from town (Ischia Ponte) - uphill. No bus for that. We thought it wouldn't make a difference, but it did - especially as we were there during a heat wave.
Also, the market for groceries is a 15 minute walk, half downhill and half uphill.
The silver lining is, we ate pasta and gelato without gaining weight!

Beautiful Getaway with unbeatable views and amenities
My husband and I had the most wonderful stay here in Massimo's home. It is absolutely as beautiful - perhaps more - than shown in the pictures. Everything we needed and more was provided and the home was immaculately clean. Massimo is a gracious host, and provided us with an intro to the island and many helpful recommendations for activities and restaurants! We had so much fun in Ischia and one of our favorite activities was relaxing on the beautiful, spacious patio of this home! The views can not be beat. It is also in a very safe and secure location, super convenient to Old Town Ischia and the main shopping/strolling area on the island. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone! Thank you, Massimo, for opening your beautiful home to us!

Wonderful Stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Massimo was very attentive prior to our arrival and answered any questions we may have. He even arranged a baby crib for us to use for our stay. When we arrived, Massimo was there to greet us and offered a very warm welcome with lots of information, maps, etc. He also left us a few good items for us to enjoy while we were there (milk, juice, coffee, etc.).
The place itself is beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. We enjoyed sunrises and evenings on the terrace overlooking the castle. The place is close enough to Ischia Ponte (around a 10-15 min walk) and close to a grocery store and some restaurants (around 5-10 min walk). The place is also located right on the bus line that will take you to Ischia Porto. From Ischia Porto you can take another bus to other towns on the island.
I highly recommend a stay at Ischia Paradise Corner! You will not be disappointed.

Stunning views in a beautifully appointed apartment/villa
We were met by charming Anna the owners wife and she showed us round
Every possible effort has been made to provide you with the opportunity to enjoy your stay with all appliances high end!
Every kitchen need is there and the black book instructions gave clear help as to how everything works! There were restaurant recommendations and guidance to local shop and butcher. First time it seemed quite a long way down (and up!) but by the end of our trip it was easy and the mini market was really well stocked
Gifts of limoncello wine along with milk and juice was a lovely touch.
This is a stunning property beautifully maintained and at the quality end of the market
The added bonus are the views across the bay which are simply.magnificent changing almost by the hour
The peace and tranquillity made it such a restful.break.
We ate at il Giordano in the village and also at the American bar auras in ischia at the far end of the front with wonderful seafood pasta with charming staff in both places
We have travelled extensively throughout Europe self catering but this stands out as the most memorable. We will return!

Beautiful location, Great facilities
We really enjoyed our stay. Massimo provided us with lots of information at the start that made it easy to settle in and explore Ischia. After days out it was especially relaxing to share a glass of wine or two sitting out on the terrace.
Particular favourites nearby were the Giardino Eden for a day by the swimming pool and the I Pirati restaurant by Cartoramana beach

Paradise found!
Before we arrived we had lots of useful information from Pepe about how to get to the villa. We were greeted by Anna who was wonderful, very welcoming and gave us plenty of information about the island. The property itself is in a beautiful quiet spot with simply stunning views out into the bay. We enjoyed many an hour sat on the terrace with a good book and of course, some Italian vino. When it came to leaving the property Anna was very flexible with times and it seemed as though nothing was too much trouble. We had an amazing week here and we will definitely be back, thanks Pepe and Anna.

Beautiful Ischia
Almost hard to put in to words how incredible our stay here was. FABULOUS view, clean, efficient, all the amenities one could want. The owner’s organization helped us tremendously. We knew where to go, what to do, relax and just enjoy a perfect holiday. If we could blink ourselves back here once a year...we would! Perfect! Just PERFECT!

Perfect stay!
Wonderful place to spend a vacation. Massimo was available to answer all our our questions before our trip and met us upon arrival to orient us to the home. He also gave great recommendations of things to do while in Ischia. The house was fantastic, had everything we could need. I will dream of the views from that porch for many years to come! Thank you Massimo for sharing your incredible home!

Perfect location with a view to die for
Perfect location just out of the bustle of the main town but with access to shops and restaurants just a short walk away. The apartment was well located and had everything that you could need along with a wonderful view of the castle.
You could walk down to Ischia Ponte for shops and restaurants or it was a short bus ride (with a bus stop outside the house) into the main town. Then easy transport access for the ferries and buses around the island.
A wonderful restful break with lots to see and do.

Under the Castle walls
Our stay at Ischia Paradise Corner was wonderful. Massimo is charming and helpful, speaks excellent English. His home is lovely, beautifully located with a large comfortable flower decked patio that has a stunning view of the 15th Century Aragonese Castle, the Mediterranean, Mt Vesuvius, Naples and the Amalfi coast. The house is clean and well equipped, with a very modern bathroom and eat in kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and all conveniences. Bedrooms are comfortable and nicely furnished.. You can walk into Ischia Ponte, there is a shortcut path down the hill, lots of nice restaurants and cafes, small local shops and a small supermarket. Renting a car on Ischia is definitely a challenge, you must be comfortable with stick shift, driving a very small car and terrifying motorcycles bearing down on you on very narrow twisty roads. However there is a bus service that goes round the island regularly and fortunately Massimo's house is close to the first stop so you will get a seat. Don't miss the Giardino Eden down the road, a complex of swimming pools, a bar and expensive fish restaurant on the rocks under the Castle. Visit the Negumbo Gardens for a fun afternoon of thermal pools and water therapy and a very nice beach. Enjoy La Mortella, the magnificent cliffside gardens created by Sir William Walton the English composer and his wife. Take a private boat ride over to Sant Angelo for lunch. Ischia has been discovered by the Germans for years, but is just now getting on the radar of Americans, less touristy and more wild and natural than Capri.

An hidden gem within the Gulf of Naples!
We have holidayed throughout Italy and can say with certainty that Paradise Corner, Ischia is a charming place to spend a quiet and stress-free holiday!
The host, Massimo, was delightful and informative, the view was just stunning of the Castle, Sorrento, Capri and of course Mt. Visuvius! every morning to wake up and see the whole of the Bay of Naples stretching out before you was just breath taking....,
Many happy hours spent on the terrace drinking in the views and of course the local vino!
THANK YOU ITALY again!

Wonderful visit to Ischia
We came to Ischia to share the island with family visiting from the U.S. over Thanksgiving. We had a great time and the view was nothing short of amazing. We did trip the power a couple different times which required a quick walk to the front of the parco to flip the breaker and would have loved to have a newer TV that we could have hooked our Apple TV to in order to watch the Macy's Day Parade and American Football on the holiday but we didn't spend a great deal of time harping on those small things, instead exploring the island, eating, shopping and enjoying each other's company.
We would definitely stay at Massimo & Anna's Ischia Paradise again in the future.

Beyond Expectations
Ischia was an island that we knew little about. We have friends that prepped us with information from their travels to Rome, Florence, the Amalfi Coast, and other parts of Italy, but none had been to (and most hadn't heard of) Ischia. We did our research, found this apartment, and were so glad that we did!
The view was breathtaking, and never got old. We found ourselves taking pictures every time we had a glass of wine or a meal on the patio, to try and capture the memory. The owners are gracious, organized, and very helpful. We found their suggestions for what to do, and where to eat, to be spot-on. The apartment is well located - close enough to walk places, far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The amenities were perfect - simply a great place to stay.
We have rented several homes through VRBO and HomeAway - this one was the hands-down the best! Fred and Karie B.

Bellisimo!
The "cottage" is so beautiful and the view was even better than depicted in pictures in the vrbo listing. It is very clean and comfortable with all of the amenities you could want (except a coffee maker for "cafe Americana"!) The view of the castle was spectacular! Massimo had a binder of information in all languages with everything you need to know about the house and getting around the island. Ask him to give you the name of the restaurant in the same town (Ischia Ponte). It was excellent.
Anna and Massimo were so nice and helped us in many ways. Getting to Ischia, we took the ferry from Pozzuoli rather than Napoli as we found better availability. Be aware though, that the ferry stops first at an Island called Procida before continuing on to Ischia. I got off on the ferry thinking we were there and I would wait for my husband on the pier. Next thing I knew the ferry was pulling away with me on Procida and my husband on the ferry! Massimo met him at the dock in Ischia and waited with him until I arrived 2 hours later on the next ferry. It was easy to be confused because as you pull up to Procida there is also a castle on a high rock that I mistook for the Aragonese Castle.
The listing says that a car is recommended, but we think it was better without a car. We actually went back to Napoli to return the car on the second day. We may not be objective though, because we had just driven from Como and the driving there was not fun. (I hit a parked car after making fun of my husband's driving:)) The bus system on the island is very good and you can get anywhere you need to go, but be prepared to stand and be crowded. We met a wonderful driver, Pippo Cortese, and for 150 euro he took us on a great tour of the entire island, stopping in all of the villages to shop and eat lunch. He had a beautiful, pristine Mercedes Benz. He spoke very good English. He also helped us get back to the port with our luggage on our last day.
You can do a nice day trip to Capri. Alilauro ferry leaves Ischia at 10:35 and leaves Capri to return to Ischia at 4:40.
The weather in September is beautiful, still considered the summer season here. Don't over-pack.
You will love this spot on the Island of Ischia!

Like a Dream!
From beginning to end Anna and Massimo were both full of vital information.Though I called and emailed several times, they never made me feel as though I was a bother. Getting to the property was very easy. We just took the ferry and it got us to the island in just under an hour. Then took a taxi to house. ($24 Euro.) Massimo met us there and we got there early and he welcomed us with open arms. Sometimes when you come to a property early, the owners will insist on a 4pm check in. Massimo was very friendly which was a wonderful way to start off our Ischian vacation. He then spent the better part of an hour going over all the little things about the house including the fabulous house book with all the owners recommendations for the spas and restaurants and local grocery stores. The property itself is something between a luxury villa and a gorgeous guest house.Calling it an apartment is an understatement by my standards. The house had everything!!! And I mean everything. We didn't even have to do the initial shopping for the basics when we arrived. The house was already stocked with milk, orange juice, Olive oil, sugar, flour, onions, lemons and even Masssimo's homemade limoncello. We had dinner and breakfast everyday on the terrace that over looks a giant Spanish castle. There is nothing to get in the way of this view. My husband and I were so amazed by the view that every time we walked past the living room or bedroom window we would jump back in shock and jest and say stupidly, "There's a castle in the window!!" We did that for a couple of days but seriously, the surprise never wore off. It was always beautiful and overwhelming.
The water was unbelievable crystal clear and blue and just 100 meters away. We went swimming in it and it was wonderful. The house is a perfect distance from town and country. You could spend the whole day out exploring the island and then come back to serenity and paradise and a view that has no equal. We did not arrive with a car or rent a scooter. We walked everywhere. Don't hesitate to rent this house. It was spotless and has everything one would need. My husband and I plan on coming back every year. Every detail has been thought of. Thank you Anna and Massimo for sharing this amazing home. A special thanks to Anna and for answering all my questions and Massimo for taking so much time with us while we checked in. We have traveled all over the world and this by far is our favorite romantic spot. Sue and Tim Horner
