Marina Guest House
Emplacement, emplacement, emplacement! Ce bel appartement est au deuxième étage avec une vue souhaitable de la rivière Indian et des marais de marée. Nous sommes à distance de marche de la gare de Clinton, Cedar Island Marina et plusieurs restaurants. Nous sommes à 30 minutes en voiture de Yale, à 45 minutes en voiture des casinos et deux belles spas bien connues (Water's Edge et Saybrook Point) sont à 15-20 minutes en voiture. C'est l'endroit idéal pour un week-end romantique, un week-end entre filles ou une visite d'université. Notre appartement est situé dans une petite marina, amicale, maman et pop dans une belle zone résidentielle. Venez profiter!
La surface habitable de cet appartement est de 600 pieds carrés, avec une grande terrasse offrant une vue imprenable, parfait pour manger et se détendre. L'espace a été entièrement rénové (2018) et est clair, aéré et propre. Vous trouverez une cuisine entièrement équipée avec de nouveaux appareils (y compris un lave-vaisselle!)et une nouvelle salle de bain avec baignoire. Des comptoirs et des meubles faits sur mesure par le propriétaire complète l'espace. Il y a une chambre à coucher avec un lit queen size ainsi qu'un nouveau canapé-lit queen size. Les draps et les serviettes seront fournis. Il y a deux places de parking disponibles pour votre usage. S'il vous plaît noter que vous devez être capable de naviguer un plein escalier pour accéder à l'espace. WiFi est disponible. Un maximum de quatre (4) invités à la maison.

The place is clean, well designed and comfortable. Chris and Anne are nice and helpful owners. Great location and good parking also. And, owners are fun to be arround. We had a few questions and they were pleased to answer them for us. They gave us info, too, about the community. Checking in was easy. Enjoyable and we strongly recommend to others.

What an incredible experience. Booked based on the ratings and all the reviews and this property/ location did not disappoint!! Chris and Anne are fantastic hosts and both went out of their way to introduce themselves. The kayaking experience was definitely a bonus and some fantastic exercise. This is a scenic location, easily drivable to Old Saybrook and beautiful Mystic CT. If we come back, with would like to stay again. This cottage is a prefect place for couples and arguably one of the top VRBO we have stayed. Thanks for the great stay. Mike and Suzie.

In visiting family for Memorial Day/birthday celebration and wanted to stay close to the family. Hotels were too far and we found this Ann and Chris's Indian River front property. It was our first time at a VRBO property and it did not disappoint!! Clean, quiet and quaint my husband and I had a marvelous time and will definitely be back!!

We spent ten days at the guest house. The location, close to the center of town, was perfect and we walked to the town dock and restaurants. We have stayed in several VRBOs and this is one of our favorites, we will definitely return on our next trip up to Connecticut!

This place is a slice of heaven! Spotless, cozy, and the pictures don’t do it justice. Our hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating and were very thoughtful. We were in town for a family funeral and the accommodations were perfect. We loved the views over the marsh and we had everything we could have needed and more. We can’t wait to come back in the warmer months.

Ann and Chris are the best hosts and the apartment is lovely. I so enjoyed being right on Indian River and watching the sunrises. Every amenity was available and I know if I needed anything else Chris or Ann would have made it happen. I highly recommend but want to come back, so I hope too many people don’t rent this awesome place (only kidding!). Thanks so much Ann and Chris!

This beautifully appointed property is the nicest I’ve ever stayed in. Ann & Chris have everything and more that may need during a visit. It was the perfect location for us; and I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to try kayaking for the first time! We will be back!!

We had such a lovely time. Ann and Chris were so accommodating and the access to the kayaks was amazing! Everything was clean, the views over the river were really nice, and did we mention the kayaking? Cannot recommend this cottage more!

This well-designed, fully equipped, and meticulously maintained guest house is comfortable in every way. Ann and Chris are perfect hosts- good communicators and thoughtful. We loved the location- walking distance to restaurants and shops and close to Hammonasset State Park. We enjoyed the Indian River both from the outside deck and from kayaks. This spot is a birder's paradise.

Ann and Chris are so kind and have done a wonderful job on this rental. I am admittedly a high maintenance, very picky traveler. This is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. The bed is very comfortable, as well as the bedding. I was expecting a thin quilt, but it was a nice, thick cozy comforter. It's in a great location, close to so many things and very quiet at night, and the view over the Indian River is gorgeous (I already miss it)! Ann and Chris have even included snacks, water, shampoo, conditioner, and even a sweet note, which was so thoughtful. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay in the area and I hope to be back soon!!!

Ann and Chris were so understanding and accommodating after Hurricane Ian messed up our travel plans. We stayed in constant communication and they even offered to do some grocery shopping knowing the time crunch we had to get to a wedding! We brought nasty weather with us but other than that it was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed! Thank you for your hospitality Ann and Chris!!!

We couldn't have been happier with Ann and Chris' house! The view off the deck was beautiful! My husband, girls, and I had a great time kayaking and my daughter tried paddle boarding for the first time and loved it! So close to lots of stores and things to do. We highly recommend staying here!! Ann and Chris, as well as their staff at Indian River Kayaks, were extremely friendly!!

Perfect location and great views. Kitchen was well stocked, but there are enough restaurants nearby if you don't want to cook. Décor was lovely, and the hosts had even put cut flowers in the kitchen. Would definitely stay again!

Terrific spot!
This is is lovely, attractively decorated, comfortable apartment. We loved the marsh and inlet views and beachy vibe. The host was very pleasant, check in was flawless and walking to town past wonderful historical era homes was easy. If you are a kayaking enthusiast, this spot is even more of a plus for you.

Cozy retreat
Ann and Chris are great hosts. Within minutes of asking if there was a tea kettle in the apartment, an electric tea kettle was provided. Ann and Chris checked in with us often.
The location is within walking distance of several restaurants and nice views of the Indian River and the marina. We were able to enjoy our breakfast coffee and tea on the deck as well as grill for dinner. The apartment is welcoming and has a nice view of the river as well as providing some wildlife sightings. We are already planning a summer getaway.

Comfortable and Serene
This beautifully renovated and spacious cottage is tucked away in a quiet and peaceful spot by a river, with a view over the surrounding marsh land. It's walking distance to Main St., Clinton restaurants and shops, as well as to a nearby marina, with more eateries. The cottage itself is super clean and comfortable, and Chris and Ann went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Use of kayaks or SUPs is included with the rental - we really enjoyed bird watching as we paddled down the river and out to the Sound. Overall a wonderful place to stay!

Fantastic New England Cottage!
Ann and Chris were great with communication before and during the visit. The cottage has a wonderful New England feel and the view is spectacular! It was a great place for me, my husband and son to stay while visiting family and friends. We got to go out paddling, enjoy the views and relax. The BBQ on the deck and full kitchen made for easy meals when we didn’t feel like eating out. There was plenty of room for the three of us to relax when the weather wasn’t cooperating. All around a great stay! Would definitely come back!

Truly a Special Property
This property is pretty special... the apartment is beautifully appointed and very comfortable, with the marina grounds providing a stunning and very private setting. The surrounding coastal community is quiet and quaint. Apartment is in walking distance to excellent dining options, shopping and other local amenities with beaches and more just a short drive away. Comfortable, tasteful, immaculate, well-located
Everything in the listing and previous reviews is accurate. The apartment is tastefully decorated, furnished to be comfortable, with a well-stocked pantry. We enjoyed eating and gabbing on the deck, which has an engaging vista of the marina. It's quiet at night and the AC cools the entire place well. The hosts are attentive but not intrusive. It's not beach front but being walking distance from downtown Clinton made up for that. Trust the reviews.

CT Shoreline Getaway

Connecticut shore
A very enjoyable stay. The guest house is clean, comfortable and well-stocked. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the birds nesting in the marshes and boats on the river. Having the opportunity to kayak out to the sound was a wonderful experience.

Exceeded expectations. Beautifully furnished 1-bedroom unit with all new and well-maintained fixtures and amenities. Lots of light, deck overlooking a canal with a nice view of the surrounding landscape. Very conveniently located. Easy walk into town or marina area. Property managers were very personable and accomodating. Highly recommended.

The Perfect Place
I use HomeAway a lot, and I have to say this has been the very best experience of all (and I've had many others). The house was spotless, high-end and thoughtfully outfitted for a short or long stay. Chris and Ann were wonderful hosts--from the warm welcome to intuiting what you might need to a visit at the end to see how things went. The ability to use kayaks was a HUGE bonus (went out four times), and their crew members, especially Matt and Sara, were superb. And it's a great location--walkable to town, with lots to see in the general area. Overall, a TEN!

Ideal shoreline base
The Indian River Marina apartment was perfect for our week-long visit to friends and family in the area. It's well-designed and equipped, comfortable, beautifully sited, and peaceful in the mornings and evenings, when it counts. The kayak business can be busy, but we never had a problem the daytime bustle. It was fun to watch the kayakers come and go, and the included free use of a kayak was a great perk. This is not an old-fashioned, sandy beach cottage that lends itself to lazy days at home--there's a deck in full sun much of the day, and no other private outdoor space--but as a base for other activities it's ideal.

Beautiful Getaway!
Having used VRBO for the first time, I was somewhat apprehensive. The stay at the Marina Guesthouse in Clinton was everything as described online, and more. The guesthouse was clean and inviting, Chris and his staff were helpful and available with the use of kayaks as an extra bonus. Would very much like to stay again at this lovely place!
