Great location- we parked at the town hall car park which was a short walk away. Very comfortable and Arwenne was fantastic in providing directions and everything we needed.

Very nicely set out old fashioned cottage, with nice kitchen and lovely sitting room. The location was excellent for the town and for Petworth House and Park. Close by parking just across the road.

The top room bed was very uncomfortable with springs poking up into my back. The shower took some fine tuning with a good five minute wait for hot water to arrive.

The hosts were easily contactable in case of issues (or which there were none!) and gave information about recommended eating places. Gorgeous cottage on three levels - comfy seating areas and spacious rooms - all beautifully decorated with some stunning art work. Washing machine and dishwasher also available. Nearby, the Co-op easily found for bits and pieces and lovely restaurants / pubs very close by in the village. Ensuite shower was fab too. As National Trust members, we loved being right across from Petworth House and gardens. Altogether, a wonderful stay.

Nothing to be done about this, but parking was a bit frustrating at first. And we could not find the free car park mentioned in an email. But we sorted parking out eventually on a nearby lane (recommended by the hosts). This is definitely, obviously, not the fault of the hosts and the cottage was well worth having to find a car parking space!

Location is excellence and accommodation was very comfortable, cosy and clean.

Parking is not necessarily near the house. The town carpark is a short walk away and worth lots of space. £2.30 a day.

The Gallery Cottage was stunning and beautifully decorated, in a great location and very comfortable. Heating worked perfectly. We used the kitchen a lot and it had most of what we needed. Our host was also super easy to communicate with and was helpful in sending local suggestions.

Unfortunately the wifi didn't work which wasn't great as the network coverage in the cottage isn't great. There were a few small things which didn't work or were amiss well; the toaster handle was broken/came apart, the shower mixer in the first bedroom was very stiff so it was a real struggle to get it to a temperature that didn't scald you. The second bedroom didn't have one main light, just a small side light which just meant at night you didn't have much light. The bathroom right at the top had a lovely bath but with no option of using it as a shower so you had to bath which isn't always convenient. There was no hairdryer which maybe to my own fault, I assumed there would be as it tends to come as standard.

Lovely cottage in excellent location. The host was really helpful and even gave us tips on places to eat. Also right near the nature park which was handy after a long walk
