You can see that they are renovating the hotel bit by bit it is starting to have a fresher look, I am sure it will look very good in the next years. The bathroom was new and the room was spatious and all the visible corners of the room were clean.

I think they were not yet prepared for the first weekend of May tourist arrivals. The breakfast was everyday the same, for the same value, you can mix it up a bit. The reading lamps in our rooms were not working. The blanket system is very oldschool, I had to take care that my sheet is not moving so that I do not touch the blanket that has been used... I do not want to know how many times (big blanket that you do not wash regularly). Please invest in some bed linen with zippers / buttons... This is something that I see in more Spanish hotels and made me buy a cotton sleeping bag for under the blankets :)

The breakfast and dinner was very nice and the location was excellent. The bedroom was very clean and noise free at night which ensured a very good night's sleep. I met four generations of the family run hotel during my stay and they were all very helpful and friendly as was all of the other staff in the hotel.

The language barrier was difficult at first but I managed to communicate with the staff and once they understood what I wanted there was no problem in meeting my requests with a friendly smile. I was even provided with a take away lunch on the day of my departure for the mountains.

Comfortable room and relaxed interior design. Staff very friendly. Particularly the girl serving breakfast was very friendly and smiley.

Some humming noise assumed from the outside air conditioning unit.

Good location. Price is fair. Room and lines/towels are clean.

No fridge. Bathroom is tiny and not separated enough from the room. Furniture and walls/floor/ceiling are ugly, old or badly done, weird shape and bad quality. Breakfast is poor, bad coffee. It's ok for the price it is in central location. Wouldn't stay there again though.

Location very close to the RENFE Rodalies train station and the Cremallera station, supermarket and bar with good selection of dishes. Not far from the town centre. Large room and bed.

It was rather noisy in the late evening as there is the outdoor hotel bar serving drinks until quite late. No air conditioner in the room. Breakfast was very modest. Rather thin walls with insufficiently good acoustic isolation.

The staff were very helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is convenient for the rack railway and the town, and although we had a room on the road, it wasn't noisy -- and did have a good view.

In the peak holiday season you can use the pool and garden at their sister hotel, but we came a few days too early.
