The room was very cosy, and the bathroom was huge! Everything was very clean and tidy, and the view was impeccable. Excellent value for money! The location was perfect and the staff were very friendly and helpful!

The bed was a little uncomfortable, and the shower was a bit difficult to use. It also had a shower curtain, which ought to be replaced with a glass screen. The walls were a little thin too. Otherwise it was a great stay!

Seafront hotel, sea view, and really comfortable. Close to town, very cheap all-day parking, and close to getting out of town to explore, esp Beachy Head area. Will definitely stay again

As always the staff were very kind and polite and helpful I go there as a sight impaired person with my my assistance dog who is training and I always find them most hospitable. I was no when I go there that I will receive a warm and kind and personal reception and I know they will look after me with my eyesight they help me find my room they are very understanding and I think they are all great people even the night porter he was very kind when my dog needed to go out to the toilet in the middle of the night thank you Cumberland you are all great

The staff were kind to me and kind to my dog I wasn't feeling very well and I was in a low mood but they were still very polite and helpful

From the moment I entered the Cumberland Hotel, I got a very warm welcome, of which means a lot!! All the staff were very friendly and polite!! We had a really lovely time staying at this hotel and ould certainly stay again!! Thank you for a very pleasant weekend!!

Good size clean quiet room on fourth floor. Bath/shower with hot water and nice towels. Good location and value for money.

Room decor was dated, and communal staircase carpet needed replacing.

Brilliant location close to the beach, pier, restaurants and shops. The elevator is a bonus and my room had a bathtub and shower. Nice view of the sea.
