My mom, sister and I took a few days to enjoy the beautiful quiet of this home and neighborhood . We celebrated my sisters 49th birthday together while enjoying the fireplace, backyard and wonderfully decorated home. We were left with everything we needed plus thoughtful touches like candles and s’mores and a gift for my sister. Wonderful memories made. Thankful and grateful!

My family and I stayed at this lovely home for a horse show and couldn’t have had a better time! The home was clean, nicely decorated, and convenient. Check in was easy and the house had everything we needed and then some. The s’mores were a special touch and were greatly appreciated. I have already booked it for the next show!

My hubby and I really enjoyed our stay in Lisa and Chip's lovely home! It was clean as a whistle and was a nice, cool retreat from one of the hottest weeks of the year. The backyard and patio are gorgeous. We loved all the little extras like smore fixings, bath products and coffee. They even left a little gift for my hubby's monumental birthday, which we was incredibly thoughtful! The location was perfect and within walking distance of great restaurants and shops in cute Saugerties. Be sure to hit Main Street, the Dutch and Village Pizza! There is a set of baseball fields right behind the house and we were entertained by fireworks on Saturday night. You really get a hometown feel in this quaint home. It was the perfect place to stay while visiting the Hudson River Valley -- what a great home base! Thanks to Lisa and Chip for a fun stay!

What a wonderful stay at the Brick Cottage in Saugerties! The property was well stocked and in a location close to the village. Communication with the owner was done easily . I would recommend this home to others if they are visiting the area!

10 out of 10 experience at this well equipped, very clean, home in a quiet neighborhood. What the pictures don’t show is the living room now has a gas fireplace that just makes this place perfect for post skiing relaxation. About a 30 minute drive to Hunter was very easy. Easy checkin/checkout from reasonable hosts. Kitchen was fully equipped which I can’t say for all rentals we’ve done in the past.

A few nurses and I stayed at Lisa and Chip’s house over NY sheep and wool festival weekend. Their house was perfect! So clean and welcoming. I wish we stayed an extra day to enjoy the town more! Walking distance to cakeapalooza, and under a half hour drive to wool&folk, and rhinebeck. This beautiful home had everything we needed! Cozy beds too! Hope we can come back soon!!

This cottage is the most magnificent place I have ever spent on a vacation. The cottage offers full amenities and more including an outdoor living space. From the beautiful fireplace and open concept inside to the outdoor fire pit with amazing seating and views. This is the Diamond in the rough. The entire house is spectacularly decorated , extremely comfortable, and completely stocked for a full and rewarding stay. My stay in this cottage made my vacation in Saugerties absolutely amazing!!! It’s a must if you are looking for a quality time in Saugerties.❤️

We were in town for a wedding In Saugerties and decided to book our stay at a VRBO instead of a hotel. I’m so thrilled we chose this one! The location was great, within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in town, and also close to the wedding venue at the Diamond Mills Hotel. My family and I were in awe of the cleanliness and all of the thoughtful touches throughout the property. Each room was so nicely decorated and the house had absolutely everything to provide a wonderful stay. The owners were great. They had provided information about the house, city, local restaurants and areas to go sightseeing. We had a fabulous stay and felt right at home. Would highly recommend staying here- you won’t be disappointed!!!

This property was exactly as advertised, lovely, convenient to the show grounds. Owner was communicative and clearly goes the extra mile to make your stay as easy as possible. Wish we had gotten to use the outdoor space & make s’mores, but hopefully next time! 100% looking to stay again!

It's a thoughtfully furnished, very comfortable place to stay. Be aware that the dining table is one of those high tables with stools, which are not my favorite, but the location and the rest of the house is so awesome I just put up with it. I would readily stay here a third time. We visited Woodstock and Catskill and Olana on this trip. The scenery at Olana is amazing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming cottage. With the exception of the evening katydid serenade (also charming), it is a quite location in a lovely neighborhood. It is extremely well appointed, clean, and just a joy to come "home" to after a full day of visiting the historical locations in the river valley. A++

We loved every part of our stay! The decor and attention to detail is fantastic plus all of the extras (bathroom items, kitchen snacks). We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and by the fire pit. The AC kept the house cool during some really hot days. It was also great to walk to town and experience the wonderful choices of restaurants and shops. Lisa was a great host and very responsive to our questions. We can’t wait to return to experience so much more in the area.

We found the home to be a great location for our family getaway. The house was very clean, the decor was inviting and the kitchen was well equipped. We especially enjoyed the sun porch, fireplaces and dancing in the kitchen. We are definitely keeping this home in mind for future travels to visit our daughter at college.

This property is half a block from municipal electric vehicle charging (level 2) at the senior center, which allowed us to leave the car plugged in for several hours after an afternoon driving around to different cideries and then stroll back over to move the car to the driveway after dinner. The pictures show the soothing and cozy decor and the lovely hardwood floors accurately. The beds were very comfortable and the smart TV was easy to use. The check in was very easy and the checkout procedure was brief and completely reasonable. The bathroom does have a pocket door, so sometimes you have to be a little patient getting a grip on the door and getting it rolling. The house is full of thoughtful touches, including a basket of s'mores makings and a house resource book with restaurant information and things like an explanation of how the shower controls work. They really are super hosts!

This home is perfect! It is meticulously kept with so many thoughtful touches which made our stay easy and very comfortable. The three season room is wonderful! Loved enjoying morning coffee there. The patio/yard are great for hanging out and spending time. The location is fantastic! Super close to restaurants and HITS as well! We booked a few more weekends throughout the summer and cannot wait to come back!

Just perfect - everything exceeded our expectations! The house was so charming, CLEAN, and well maintained. House is super close to a local park and walking distance to town (bakeries, restaurants, a great bookstore). We will be back!

This house was exactly as it seemed in the ad, perfectly clean, and had all the needed amenities. We have stayed in this area before so we already knew how nice it was. This house is advertised as "cozy" which usually means "tiny" but it really wasn't small at all! Bedrooms all had enough room for queen beds, luggage, and space to move around the room; living room into the open kitchen was a great size too. The back deck with fire pit, grill, and backyard were even better than we expected. And that fireplace was such a treat!

This house was amazing and was so clean. The owners communicate with you promptly when you need them. The town is cute however we were in the area to ski at Hunter Mountain. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for accommodating such a great place to stay!

Cozy, relaxing week in Saugerties. No surprises with the house -- exactly as seen on the computer, but lots of extra touches or comfort like teas, snacks, candles, soaps. Easy walking distance to town which is very COVID-conscious. Many restaurants closed Tuesday/Wednesday, but always options. The weather was grey and cold, but we still had a wonderful week of relaxation.

This one-story brick house was a great home base for Thanksgiving weekend visits to friends nearby. Spotlessly clean and cozy, the house has a well equipped kitchen. It's located near to shops and restaurants in downtown Saugerties and within easy reach of the Thruway exit 20.

We found the perfect place, close enough but far enough from our home in NYC, to spend a beautiful fall weekend this year. Worked for the parents, worked for the 2 year old, close enough to hit 5 hikes in 4 days and still walk into a nice downtown. There were even dad-rock 80s tribute bands around the corner over the weekend. Highly recommend!

My family and I enjoyed a beautiful weekend in Saugerties at the brick cottage! We enjoyed cooking some homemade meals, playing board games at night, enjoying the peaceful backyard, and walking into town. The house was super clean and we were all very comfortable.

I ran a half marathon in Rhinebeck and our family of four needed a place to stay for a long weekend that was not too far from the run and was a good spot for generally exploring that region of the Hudson Valley. The brick cottage checked all of the boxes and provided a fantastic home base. The house is small, but super cute and cozy. Lisa and Chip have gone above and beyond with all of the extra touches to make for an easy, relaxing stay. The large yard and well equipped patio was a hit with both the kids and adults and our kids liked fixing Shirley Temples for everyone behind the bar while the adults relaxed around the fire. Lisa was super responsive to questions and requests and made the whole process easy. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for accommodations in the area!
