The employees where very very kind. for our daughter’s birthday they even made a cake and decorated our room for her! alle of them treated us very kindly. also the hotel was very pleasant, a very green environment, nice music around the pool area and super close to the town centre. This we will not forget.

The pool is narrow but is as long as an olympic- sized pool.Perfect for serious lap swimmers.(I've never seen a hotel pool like this!) I saw it being cleaned each of my 4 mornings there. There are several other smaller pools as well. The posada has something like 30-40 rooms,I think.Constructed in Bahia style-it oozes charm. Filled with luxuriant foliage,it's lovely just being there. The staff are gracious and helpful .A few at the front desk speak English. The breakfast staff and breakfast offerings were very good.I forgot his name, but the man who runs the breakfast offered all sorts of natural and healthy foods. He was a real gem. The posada was very quiet,and wooden panels blocked the sun completely-allowing an undisturbed sleep. It is well-positioned-2 minutes from the main street in lovely Itacare. Good wi-fi. Good air con.

The shower lacked a temperature mixer,so it took some effort to avoid scalding burning water(but easily fixable).
