Lovely seafront hotel with helpful staff. Lovely bathroom with a large walk in shower Really good breakfasts in a spacious dining area.

Our small room on the second floor had a very uncomfortable bed, and the inland view was of the back of the hotel and fire escapes! Unfortunately meals at the hotel were limited, kitchen not open on some days. We ate out.

We had a king size sea view room and it really was spot on, the shower was large, hot and powerful, the duvet like a cloud of comfort and the room was large and well planned out.

Our whole stay was fantastic. Great sea views and excellent food and superbly dog friendly.

Central location on the seafront. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Food was good. Very dog friendly allowing dogs in the bar and restaurants.

Lack of car parking. The public car park opposite is very handy - maybe a residents’ deal with the car park could be considered. Some carpets looked a little tired.

Having stayed at a number of hotels in sidmouth, this was the best in terms of location, staff, facilities. I would recommend.

The hotel is family run and really really friendly. wonderful uplifting atmosphere. i have stayed here several times before and the whole experience is very pleasant and positive. unpretentious. good value

Breakfast was delicious and the staff were lovely. Our room had a fanastic view overlooking the sea with a balcony, it was comfortable, clean with plenty of space to relax.

The only downside was a dog in a room nearby that whined and barked.

Lovely welcome, so pleased that hotel was so dog friendly including breakfast arrangements. Room was very well appointed and very comfortable. Very convenient location.
