El hotel hace una fiesta hasta las 2.30 AM todos los viernes y es literalmente al lado de las habitaciones. Tuvimos música en nuestros oídos hasta las 2.30 AM y personas de la fiesta afuera de nuestra habitación conversando muy fuerte y fumando. Si alguien va a estar un viernes por ahí, quédese en otro lugar (a menos que quiera asistir a la fiesta)

Friendly staff, fast check in and out. Big, clean room and bathroom. Comfortable mattress, Refrigerator. Free surfboard and kayak. Good breakfast, clean and big pool, open late. Beach across the street. Highly recommend!

Good afternoon, I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing about my reservation at Best Western Tamarindo Vista Villas on March 28- 30, 2024, Booking confirmation # 4037881288. My family and I stayed in room 404 and, to my expectation, I was extremely disappointed with the lack of assistant from staff, we had to walk up a hill of 100 plus steps with our luggage to the 4th floor, my bad knee in superb hot 98-degree weather, there is no elevator. Then I had to find a room that is dirty, the floor was dusty and stained, beds were uncomfortable and had sand in them. The bath towels were NASTY, old, dingy, stained and worn-out was falling apart. To say the least I was disgusted with lack of maintenance of the most minor details that mean the world to the guests. As a result, I had to check out of this hotel early and I’m requesting to be reimbursed for the night I did not use the facility. The lack of cleanliness denied me the opportunity to stay longer and explore the beautiful Tamarindo area such as the restaurants, beach and shops. I’m requesting a refund on my credit card for the night I did not stay. Thank you for your understanding. Danesh Basdeo

The hotel pool was great and the workers were so kind and friendly. One server told us about Costa Rica and different things about his country. The view from the balcony was beautiful and had a great view of the sunset.

The location was a little further from the city center than I would have preferred but it was still walking distance. The sleigh bed was extremely load and not needed/didn't fit the style of the beach hotel.

The location is within walking steps to the beach and center for food and shopping. The view from our room was beautiful.

On Friday night there was a “fiesta” at the hotel deck/pool/bar area. The music was super loud and did not finish u til 2am. Many people that were not hotel guests were on the premises partying away. The balcony is shared with other rooms within the same are.

the hotel runs a party every Friday and it finishes at 2:30am. The music is so loud that it’s impossible to sleep. it’s a proper party which people queue to get in. you can’t go to breakfast when you want, you have to book a slot the day before (if available) the hotel it’s a bit far from the main area of tamarindo. you can walk but it’s not a nice walk. my room had ants on the bed.

Beautiful ocean room. The monkeys in the trees. Nice beach to swim in.

It was close to the beach and had a good sized pool.

The hotel has a club opened not only for hotel guests. Friday evening was a late party with loud music that continued at least till 1 AM next day.

Location and check in process, was really good, the location it´s perfect, walking distance from all important points and services in Tamarindo

Just 1 towel and a very small piece of soap, the shower and some areas in the bathroom were not clean enough. Distribution in the room it´s kind of absurd.

The hotel is located at the begining of the town, 10 minute on foot to the center. The beach is just crossing the road and the swimming pool has great views of the surrondings. The rooms are spacious and quiet, and have a good bathroom and amenities. The breakfast is good and you can chose what you like from several kind of breakfasts. The man at the front desk is very helpful and kind and gave us a lot of infromationa and help when we needed.

This is not a claim, just an advice. On friday nights they have a party at swimming pool with two ambiences, disco and latin. Is very funy but if you look for resting, maybe it could be difficult, because the music stops at 2.30 am. We enjoyed the party for a while, and then went to rest with no problems.

Breakfast was delicious and you get 5 options to choose from. Eat at restaurant or in room. The staff is very friendly at reception and provide great recommendations The location is very central and walking distance to restaurants, beaches

cannot check in before 3pm its always full Room needs some upgrades we stayed on level 400, lots of ants. Woke up at 3am to go to the washroom and saw a BIG cockroach right beside our bed

Spacious room at an affordable rate. Pool is a big plus. Staff very helpful.

Room WI-FI was weak at best, non existent at times. Kitchen only open for breakfast.
