Location here is spot on as is the space of the property and size!

Sadly we were really let down by 2 mouldy and dirty bathrooms…. These issues were in the book and mentioned by other guests previously (wish we had known)… We had elderly family with us who refused to use there en suite it was that poorly looked after… we managed with what we had but raised with the landlord for any kind of refund I’ve since been ignored and fobbed off! Shame as a good location just needs some love and care!!

This is a great location and good size property. Lots of space for us to spread out.

It didn’t look as though much cleaning had been done since the last guests. The beds and bathrooms were clean, however we did not feel like we could let the kids play on the carpets and the kitchen needed a good clean. Having to clean up oven trays from someone else’s dinner is not good! A number of fixtures and fittings were tired and in need of some attention, the whole place felt like it was just kept to a minimum standard and not the exceptional standard as advertised.

The location is absolutely great. Also ther was 6 adult 2 children plus dogs and there was plenty of room.

The ensuite in the dowm stairs bedroom could do with some TLC

Great, spacious apartment in a fantastic location for exploring Tynemouth and the surrounding area. Plenty of room for 9 (5 adults and four children), plus a dog. Excellent kitchen. We had a small query when we first arrived which the host was quick to apologise for and fix.

Car parking was a bit awkward. There is a yard but it can be tight to get into from the lane at the side of the property. The mattresses on some of the beds felt like they were a little old and perhaps could do with replacing.

The cottage is lush and nicer than the photos. Location perfect xx

Windows wouldn’t shut in some rooms

Rooms were all large and airy, huge kitchen diner. Plenty of bathrooms.

As it was a sunny week, the windows in the kitchen were too high to open, so felt quite hot

Surprisingly spacious and well appointed. Perfectly suited to our family (parents with two adult children and partners, so six adults in total) with room to spare. Ideal location, close to beach, shops, bars and restaurants, metro station etc.
