This property is very unique and interesting. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful. Walkable to downtown Fort Augusts and abbey is located on Loch Ness.

Second bedroom was really a loft over the kitchen, not an entirely separate room. It would have been nice if the pool hours were more open and didn't need to be scheduled - the scheduling system made it less convenient to access.

The original property and abbey are beautiful. The location at the base of Loch Ness is special, though there’s not much going on or available in the adjacent town of Fort Augustus. Some of the shared facilities are very nice - the pool (for which you need a booking!?), the games room, the giant chess and the outdoor kids playing area.

The apartment was strange, an unsympathetic renovation, large but very pokey, it was however clean and with the inclusions listed. The check in process is challenging and convoluted. I’ve never had so much repetitive paperwork to read to check into an apartment or hotel. Zero follow up on a specific issue we experienced. Very disappointing is the on-site restaurant - The Boathouse - despite being in a glorious location it was the worst food we’ve ever had at very expensive prices. Definitely not befitting this property. Try the Bothy pub in town instead.

I was told that tea, coffee, milk & shortbread would be waiting when we arrived but there was no milk or shortbread.

Home away from home, clean and everything works

Beautiful historic building on the shores of Loch Ness. Home from home apartment, exceptional & needs for nothing. Great access for cycling routes close by, Loch ness 360 trail is epic & a huge challenge. After an active day, it is perfect to come home to this. We have already booked our return trip before we left. The scenery and setting and tranquility of this property should not be understated, its on another level to most. Highly recommended.

Liked everything about the place. Apartment is well located and has all the facilities you could ask for. The pool and sauna were great. Very nice grounds and location and close to local town with loads of lovely restaurants within 2 mins walk Would recommend to everyone.

I'm not sure if I should recommend the classrooms. If people discover how special this is, it could get very crowded and prices could rise sharply. I'll say it anyway: this is the most amazing apartment I've ever stayed in. No doubt. It's worth every pound. We'll be back.

Perfect location for exploring the Highlands and surrounding area. The apartment was lovely; very clean and nicely furnished. With two bathrooms, a well proportioned kitchen/dinner and lounge there was plenty of room for our family of four.

The Highland Club facilities were very good, with a pool, small steam room / sauna and gym however the issue was the booking system. As spaces for the facilities were limited there was a very unfriendly booking system to be used. The system was very clunky to use and not user friendly at all.

The building is wonderful and the apartment and the apartment very comfortable. The location is perfect if you want to explore both the east and west of the highlands.

Lovely location, beautiful apartment with plenty of space for whole family. Photos don't do it justice. Great facilities in apartment and in the Highland club. Was perfect for our family break.
