Staff were friendly and helpful. Apartment was modern, spacious and clean with all the items you need. Temperature was good in the room. Nice and comfortable bed. Good value for money.

Lovely, spacious studio with comfortable chairs and all the cooking conveniences we needed. Easy walk into downtown and near beautiful Queen’s Park. Easy and friendly check in.

It would have been nice to have a plug socket on each side of the bed for phone charging.

I stayed 3 separate nights here while I was doing some multiday hikes in the area. The property is located in a lovely tree-lined street, within easy walking distance to town and very close to Queens Park. The owners are lovely and very helpful, and I was able to leave an extra bag with them in between visits. I stayed in different rooms on each of my visits and all were very clean and very comfortable with everything I could have needed. Use of the guest laundry facilities was also much appreciated!

It was easy to park undercover. The host and staff were very helpful and friendly. It was great to be able to use the guest laundry for free. would stay again.

Good location, with excellent facilities at the property. Perfect for our overnight stopover. Enjoyed a short stroll to the beautiful Queens Park Gardens which were magnificent to walk around. Also easy access to the E.Hayes hardware store “Home to the Fastest Indian” and the amazing display of vintage motorcycles and memorabilia of legendary Burt Munro. Jan & John were lovely hosts, providing great info of things to see n do in Invercargill; and also for our continuing trip onto Dunedin. Would definitely stay again at this little gem.

Fantastically central yet ridiculously quiet. The rooms and gardens looked impeccable and it was a very comfortable overnight stay for our young family

The property is very handy to the airport and city. The unit had everything we needed and was nice and clean. There was a fully functioning laundry at no extra cost. The hosts were lovely. What’s not to like!

We were very happy with check in, very helpful and professional. Our room was readily accessed and perfect for us. The beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen and kitchenware were clean.

The shower is clean as can, be but needs to be refreshed.

The office was attended by John who was welcoming, and we loved the room. It has dated decor, but we loved the homely feel that it gives. We thought the situation and the room fantastic. We would stay again and recommend it to all.

John met us at the airport and drove us to the motel. Very close to town so we were able to walk to town and to and from places to eat. Jan and John are welcoming, helpful, and friendly hosts. We thoroughly recommend staying here and we will stay here again when we return to Invercargill.

Jon and Jan are the most friendly people that I ever met. Our car broke down and we were stuck in Invercargill. Jon and Jan helped us with giving us advice, giving us a room for a lower price, supported us, ... Their rental car service was a big bless for us, cheap and the car was excellent. The rooms are big and clean. The location is perfect! Jon and Jan we love you guys!
