the location is within a few minutes walking to two beautiful beaches. the owner speaks English very well. i liked the mangos falling from the tree!
it‘s not worth the money as it has the standard of a rather simple backpacker‘s stay. the rooms would need a bit attention and mine smelled not good. there is no warm water in the shower, if that‘s important for someone. i was disappointed, the pictures looked so nice

Nothing good to say about this place.
I want to warn anyone considering staying at this place of unhealthy and unclean conditions. I had booked 6 days with my families in two rooms. We decided to leave after the first night because of extreme conditions. We contacted booking.com immediately after arrival and were denied any help at all. They did not listen to their customers but instead claimed that we were offered an upgrade by the hotel which is a complete lie. We were offered nothing at all!
Firstly, this is not a hotel. It is simply false marketing calling this place a hotel.
Below is a description of all the circumstances. Some of them are extremely severe and entail health hazards.
Unclean rooms: uncleaned toilet with faeces, hairs on floor, dead insects on floor, rodent faeces on beds, spider webs hanging from ceilings, leaking and rusty toilet.
Severe moulde in one of the bathrooms, and a foul smell of sewer water emerging from shower drain and sink
harsh lighting with no lamp screen and more spider webs that hadn’t been cleaned.
The room my sons got had no windows at all - instead of window panes it was blocked by flamingo insulation with a giant hole to the outside where rodents and cockroaches could easily enter.
The rooms were crawling with cockroaches - booking.com did not inform us about this - there were cockroach poison placed in the bathrooms but to no help at all, but it is clear that the hotel has a huge problem with cockroaches.
Ventilators hanging losely from the ceiling about to fall down.
There are unsafe electrical wiring in the rooms making it dangerous if you touch it.
Huge cracks over and under doors - easy for rodents and cockroaches to get in to the room.
Two pools - one meant for kids and one for adults - however the adult one was overrun with children and families with babies, not wearing diapers for swimming, creating a very unsanitary environment.
Smaller issues, but still below standard: Not in any of the rooms were there lamp screens on the lights, terrible Wifi

Wonderful owners, great location, could walk to beach (steep stairs, though) and nearby restaurants. Has a pool.

The location is perfect, in a nice area close to the best beaches to swim. The staff is friendly.
Except for the pool, there is no real area outside to chill, that was onfortunate. WiFi connection is really bad and there is no water refill point.

good location and nice landscaping which gave a cool environment
no red flags a basic accommodation

Good location
Pool and pool area was not clean. Room had been painted and was clean but very dated.

The hotel is very quite and has a relaxing feel and it very close to the best beach. Nice helpful staff. Clean rooms.

It's a family business and they have two cute dogs on top. The place is in a calm street and one can relaxe perfectly. The room was nice and cosy. The little hotel reminded me a little bit of a Riad, since it has a little garden inside.

Dark and Dingy. Away from anywhere. behind huge gate. No coffee/tea facilities. Not by a beach. very depressing. Did not stay!!! No towel rail. No toilet roll rail on holder. Awful!

The room was clean and spacious. Plenty of hot water. Quiet. Small pool. Fan was good but A/C, an extra charge, was needed on occasion. Very near the pretty but extremely popular Playa Manzanillo. Get there early. Nice coffee/light breakfast bar a block away by the Mirador, run by a friendly Spanish woman, Angeles. Mis Sueños or something.
Not much in the way of facilities nearby. A few restaurants. Other good beaches not in the vicinity. We were not told that our room did not have A/C until we had booked and paid. Fortunately, there was a room available with A/C but for an extra charge of 200 pesos a night. This should have been clear before booking.

This hotel is a traditional family-owned venue and the couple that runs it are absolute gems! The couple that runs it are so so personable and generous and speak perfect English so it was effortless to communicate with them.
The hotel is located in Centro, close to the bus stop and airport, but far from the cafes and bars.
Its the best bang for your buck. The rooms are reasonably priced, clean, and each one has a private bathroom, but rooms only come with fans, and you can only switch to an a/c room for a higher price once there.
There is ample parking, and a locked gate to feel very safe.
The rooms are a bit old and basic (not the most comfortable). The outside area was under construction so Im not sure how it actually is.
The wifi didn't work well in the room and they didn't know why and when I brought it up they told me no one else complained.
There is no food available at the hotel and the restaurant they work with closes early afternoon, so make sure to plan your food ahead of time.

This place was perfect for my family! My daughter loved the pool here much more than the beach :D the beach is only a short walk away and the people are super nice!

The location was perfect, the beds were comfortable, and even though I booked a room without AC, it was comfortably cool. Even though I do speak Spanish, it is my second language so having someone on the property that spoke English was a huge comfort.
No complaints.

The host and hostess were perfect. Very very kind people and always in for a chat. We loved to be there and had good conversations whilst drinking a beer.

The location 300 meters from the best beach (Manzanillo) is ideal! Also, the owners feel like your new family, and they are super helpful and welcoming. Bests hosts we had for 3 months in Mexico.
The rooms and pool area are pretty basic, and I would definitely get a room with AC.

Very friendly and helpful family-run hotel in a quiet location not far, and in walking distance to 2 beaches, some bars and fantastic restaurants. They also have a lovely swimming pool to cool of in the heat. The room was basic, but clean. The owners gave a a free cold beer which I think was a nice touch!
Everything was great for me personally. Had a bit of a problem with the Internet (but it's not the hotel's fault - they only have one tower serving the whole of Puerto Escondido). The water in my room was also not hot - rather lukewarm, which didn't bother me at all in the heat.
