Great place to stay and very convenient to everything . Claudia came over and made sure we were satisfied with the rental and if we needed anything! You would be hard pressed to find another rental like this.

Nice location, quiet..the visiting geese and ducks were welcome neighbors ..beds were comfortable and the two bathrooms were clean and needed so there was always one available. The week just seem to fly by. Thanks to the Weber's ...great hosts for this VRBO

Beautiful view, great yard for the grandchildren to play. Claudia and Jerry, the host, made sure everything was great and were excellent communicators. I would not hesitate to rent from them again.

A perfect spot for relaxation with the water as your backyard. So glad I found this for my parents to enjoy. They liked being so close to Sylvan Beach and really enjoyed a trip to The Wild with my son. The kitchen had everything they needed! Thank you for taking such great care of the home so that it feels like home for your renters. A beautiful spot!

Our week stay at the "Hidden Gem" was relaxing. The view is great, we enjoyed having morning coffee on the deck. The hosts ensured the house had all the amenities needed. It was a great place for quiet and privacy with things to do a short distance away. There was also a great diner and an ice cream shop only a mile away.

The view is simply breathtaking. We needed a vacation that truly gave us peace, tranquility and to come together as a family. The Hidden Gem gave us that and so much more! Jerry and Claudia were great and immediately responsive with any questions. You won’t be disappointed if you’re looking to get away and be on a lake. Look out for the bald eagles hunting for fish everyday around 5pm. It’s truly majestic to watch. Highly recommend The Hidden Gem! Can’t wait to go back.

As a couple of the other reviews stated, this house is ten times better in person! The house was extremely clean and the view is absolutely amazing! Claudia and Jerry were great hosts, and we knew if we needed anything, they would be quick to respond. The location is private, but you are about 8-10 minutes away from gas stations and grocery stores. If you are wanting to swim/float, the water could be a little muddy right at the "shore". I'm guessing this was from the heavy rains and storms, but it might be like that all the time...not sure. Our teenage girls thought it was gross, but teenage girls think a lot of things are gross, so I would take that with a grain of salt! We booked the house thinking we would swim a lot, but we didn't and we still would book this house again and again! We ended up doing a lot of traveling around New York, and this was the perfect place to come home to after a long day of exploring! Again, this place IS a hidden gem! Thank you to Claudia and Jerry!

I would recommend anyone to stay here. Excellent location, great view and Claudia/Larry are excellent people to rent off of. They are on top of everything that is needed and are there if u have questions. Thank you Claudia/Larry we had an enjoyable time.

Our stay at the Hidden Gem was nothing short of amazing. My brother was able to ice fish right from the house! The house is 10 times better in person! We will be back for sure. Claudia is one of the kindest people I have ever met, and she made our stay perfect! Thank you so much.

It was perfect, lake was lovely and the house was just what we we’re looking for. A couple of new mattresses and it would have been lakefront heaven!

We enjoyed our week very much - beautiful views of Oneida Lake from the deck, watching an eagle, blue herons, and ducks plus a surprising number of Monarch butterflies. The house is comfortable and well furnished with a gorgeous Rose of Sharon shrub next to the deck. Claudia and Jerry were excellent hosts.

Beautiful place. Only a few minutes away from Verona Beach state park, and Sylvan Beach. Had a wonderful time with my family. Great people to deal with. Claudia was wonderful . In fact we have rented from them for next year. Love this place!

We were exceptionally accommodated by Claudia and Jerry - they did everything possible to make our stay a memorable one. we will definitely return. My son and I did the Tour de Cure on Sunday June 8, but we enjoyed the surroundings along with our wives for the other days. the beds are firm and comfortable, the kitchen is well-stocked as their seems to be clientele that leave items to make the initial "set up" less of a hassle. Well-kept, great views, good open-water swimming and regular sightings of heron, fish, rabbits and other wild-life that frequent the property/shoreline. A really enjoyable time!

From the moment we arrived we knew this would be a relaxing, rejuvenating experience. The home was inviting, clean, and roomy. You could see the lake from almost anywhere in the home...but of course we spent most of our time on the lakeside patio. My photography hobby got a real workout with the magnificent sunsets and plentiful wildlife. We had the lakefront all to ourselves for much needed privacy and relaxation.We did venture out to visit a few casinos and found some nice restaurants for the evenings we chose not to grill. I highly recommend this camp for a couple's escape, a family vacation, or even a friend's time out. Lovely, affordable, clean, inviting, convenient and relaxing.

My husband and I spent 2 weeks at this cottage in Sept. 2013 and it was very relaxing. The cottage was extremely clean and well appointed. There was even a washer & dryer. The grounds were absolutely beautiful. The owners take great care of this property. The cottage is just a few steps from the lake. The views are amazing. An unexpected bonus was making friends with the 2 golden retrievers belonging to the owners.

We stayed at this cottage a couple of times and visited others often. The accommodations were excellent, clean and very bright with lots of windows to look out at the lake. Large walk out deck made with pleasant view of the lake and sunsets. I would highly recommend this rental property. Very nice and relaxing.
