Nice fireplace and wood provided
You would probably have better kitchen facilities at a caravan park camp kitchen.
No kitchen sink or hot water to wash dishes. Unhygienic to wash dishes in a bathroom sink with no hot water and nowhere to place dishes. No suitable indoor dining table and chairs and no wine or champagne glasses provided for a cottage in a wine region. When sitting outside on the verandah be careful not to close the door to keep the cottage warm as you could accidentally lock yourself out with no way to get back in without a key and not easy to track down the owners contact details with all of our keys, money and phones locked inside the cottage with a burning fireplace.

Supply of wood for the fireplace was ample and much needed for the cold Tenterfield winter weather. Location at the end of town, just off the main street, was very handy. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Lack of toilet paper. We thought it was no longer a valuable commodity as it was at the height of CoVid :-) One roll supplied for our 4 night stay with no others to be found. We bought our own. Forks were missing from the cutlery supply.

Location & wood fire.
Nowhere to wash up dishes apart from in the bathroom which has the toilet.
No hot water in the bathroom sink.
Hot water in shower doesn't have a regulator so can fluctuate in temperature.

Very comfortable cottage, well furnished and great location for walking intown and down in the parks.
Beds were five star comfort.
Air con and fire kept us warm.
Great lighting for reading with comfy lounges.

Quiet despite being just off highway. Separate sitting room. Easy to park. Pleasant outlook. Character of building. Proximity to national parks & historic town. Good wifi.
Bathroom lovely but no hot tap in basin. Lounge area was very nice. Tea making & microwave good but no sink for washing up.

It was clean and the warm bed was great! It was a little nice space
Lack of kitchen area, no where to clean the dishes or cook something at night.
For the price It should have at least a kitchen facility where we could cook and clean the dishes.

Location was excellent. No breakfast provided but close to plenty of dining options.
Would have liked a basin for washing dishes rather than the bathroom vanity.

awesome location and great accommodation

Very clean, comfortable beds and a great location.
Extremely rude staff. Toilet leaked our whole stay & wasn’t fixed despite notifying of problem. Hot water system was faulty and shower was either freezing cold or scalding. No sink with hot water or dishwasher for cleaning dishes. Mid-way through our stay we were charged extra for having four people, despite the accommodation having two queen beds and being specifically for four people! A comfortable stay, but overall pretty disappointing and very pricey for the lack of amenities.

The fire place warmed up the property nicely. The location was perfect.
the only slight thing was the shower was very small especially for such a large bathroom

Loved the location and the fantastic hot shower

Loved the wood fire heater. The bed was so comfy. Great Location. Great facilities. Plenty of wood for the fire. Easy to collect the key and check in. Lots of information in the room of what to do in Tenterfield
Everything was amazing. I didnt realise that the toilet and bathroom were outside the room along the verandah. It was not a problem for us though.

The appreciation I have for actual luxury now I've been here.
Every moment I was at this property, all I could think was "Luxury" as a grim joke.
When we arrived, we couldn't see where to park, didn't figure that the "bungalow" we were looking for would have 3 cars parked outside. When we called we were able to figure out which property it was, we were able to pull into the driveway. The parking instructions in the booking were vague at best.
When I called the second time -she was clearly in the middle of dinner with her child - and treated me like I wasn't paying money to stay there. Such a bothersome question as "where is the toilet", thinking that outside toilets are not really what I consider "luxury". So despite a text telling us we could call and ask questions, that was very much *not* what they meant.
Firstly, it's not a bungalow. It's a weird granny flat attached to their house where you have outside toilets for use. You are staying with someone else, despite the fact that you're paying like it's a standalone house. As you can see from the photos, you're cheek by jowl with the owners. That's their bike, in the shot. It's particularly bothersome when they walk past your window to go out with their kid, or when their dog howls because they've gone out.
All of the linen was stained. Pillowcases and bedding were stained, as you can see in my photos. Mystery spots on the sheets and pillows, soiled handtowels.
That photo with the rugs - that's the dew covered rugs that turn to frost covered rugs - you will have to cross past your hosts' kitchen windows to a toilet and shower which have unsealed windows and no heating. Every time I put on my quilted jacket over my nightgown, I thought about the sheer luxury I was enjoying while going to the toilet.
The walls have cracks in the fibrocement/asbestos and they have unpainted bits.

Fantastic location, literally around the corner from the main street coffee shops, pubs and local wares. The rooms were well heated with the fireplace and split system. Beds were amazing. Cowskin on the floor was a lovely touch. So much so that we had to buy one from Flanagans in the main street :)
The bathroom and toilet is separate from the cottage - along the verandah. Lovely facilities but we weren't aware of this and it wasn't so pleasant to go outside on 2 deg Celsius night!
Being right around the corner from the main street, you could hear the traffic although this didn't bother us.
The fire was lovely but the layout didn't make it easy to sit around it as a family. Little touches - no teaspoons or instructions for use of the hotwater system in the kitchen. Would also be a nice touch to have some brochures of the local businesses and doctors, hospital etc. in a folder.

Close to middle of town. Plenty of firewood. Everything was clean and well organised - thank you.
Toilet and shower located outside. Poor lighting in Bungalow - fluorescent lights overhead are pretty ghastly in the room with the fireplace. Suggest you might put some stand lights with warm light globes in to give some nice atmosphere. Hot water system not integrated into other plumbing.

Rustic charm - fireplace
External bathroom and toilet reached only by walking 10 metres on an exposed verandah. Neither secure nor safe. Unsatisfactory.
Particularly during the night hours in winter conditions. The external facilities were not private.

convenient location
I wish the fact that the toilet / shower was detached from the bedroom is stated within the descriptions. Especially during the colder months, the walk from the warm bedrooms out onto the cold/wet (if raining) verandah just to get to the toilet in the middle of the night is rather unpleasant.

Comfortable beds. Clean. Prompt response from host. A quiet location.
Proximity to cafes and restaurants.
Not luxury, as claimed.
Parking is on a first come, first served basis, so we parked on the street.
Bathroom outside on the veranda, cold at night. No exhaust fan in bathroom, very steamy. Bath was slippery and in my opinion, would not be suitable for the elderly or people with mobility issues as there is a lack of hand rails. It was ok for us as we are relatively fit people in our 60’s. Perhaps a non slip mat in the bath would decrease the risk of slipping.
