'The Hut' a Rural Getaway With Views to Die For.
'The Hut' est situé à mi-chemin entre Oberon et O'Connell et à seulement 33 klms de Bathurst et mis sur une colline à prendre dans les vues spectaculaires.
Il est juste au coin de Mayfield Gardens, qui dispose d'un café et d'un beau terrain à explorer. Un peu plus loin de quelques klms est le fameux Jenolan Caves et Kanangra Murs Parc national, Ben Chifley Dam, vignobles, Oberon Dam (grande pêche), Oberon Golf Course, The Fish River et de nombreuses taches de pique-nique pittoresque et la State Forest grands pour la saleté vélo, multiplication et promenades.
Nous sommes au milieu d'un bon nombre de grands pubs et cafés, le plus proche étant à 5 minutes.
Il est entièrement autonome 2 chambres à coucher sur 2 acres avec vue panoramique sur la vallée arrière O'Connell et au-delà de Bathurst.
Le «Hut» lui-même a été récemment rénové avec toutes les fonctionnalités modernes
Le «Hut» se compose de 2 chambres, une avec un lit double et l'autre avec 2 lits simples, (tout le linge fourni), un salon avec une lente combustion par le feu et la salle à manger de la cuisine.
Toutes les chambres ont une vue sur la magnifique campagne.
La cuisine est entièrement équipée, y compris les nécessités de thé et le café, le poivre de lait et le sel, etc.
La salle de bain a une douche et des toilettes avec des serviettes fournis.
Il y a aussi un barbecue pour votre commodité.
Il y a une TV / DVD, stéréo, magazines, jeux tout pour vous d'apprécier.

Located a short distance out of Oberon but still close enough to go into town for dinner the house as excellent, great view, sitting on the verandah in the morning sun for breakfast, fantastic.
We were tracing family history in the area and if we want to do more we would look to book here again.

We came to the hut last year, but were far too busy running around all over the countryside to appreciate what was right here. So we made a promise to ourselves that we would have to come back.
And we did. And we are so glad we did!
We loved everything about the hut. The views can just take your breath away. And the little touches Helen has added to the hut really make it feel like we were at home. It was so good just to sit back and watch the clouds floating by. Just what we needed!!!

It was our first stay at "The Hut". We will definitely be back again. We were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail shown by our host. We had everything needed plus many more. Unfortunately, due to Covid my partner and I were unable to stay at the property. Helen the host was amazing and allowed our adult children, with their partners, to take our place. She was also very flexible and offered us a rescheduled booking.
The kids had a great time and was very comfortable at Helen’s place.

"The Hut" is a great little cottage if you want somewhere to unwind. As soon as you walk in the door, you feel like you're home. Helen has thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable.
There is an incredible view down the valley towards Bathurst, which looked beautiful in the morning. We assume it would also give spectacular sunsets but we never managed to get our timing right.
We wish we were there for more than 2 nights so we could experience more.

Such a wonderful place to stay, relaxing, peaceful and wonderful views. Loved the birdlife and the chatty kookaburra in the late evenings and early mornings. It was like they were talking about their day in the evenings and discussing what or where they were going in the morning. The other birds on the lawns during the day. The cattle and calves were around with the newly born calves having fun running around. Rooes and rabbits around. The seat by the small dam was a great get away to sit amongst the trees and just chill. Used "The Hut" as a base tovexplore the area. Fantastic hosts in Helen and Tony. Highly recommended. Will be back.

Helen was very welcoming when we arrived for our two night stay. The Hut itself was very spacious and had a delightful outlook and we enjoyed watching the birdlife. It was spotless, very comfortable, particularly the bed and had everything we needed for a self-catered stay. The weather turned on us and so we were very pleased to have the slow combustion fire place. It is ideally situated for a visit to Mayfield Gardens, about 5 kms away.

Perfect spot for exploring the area, everything you need, beautiful outlook, clean, tidy and kept toasty warm by the fire so thoughtfully prepared by Helen on arrival. Helen also very generously offered to get it going the next afternoon. 5 minutes from Mayfield garden was a bonus for a big delicious breaky. Highly recommend for a comfy stay in a beautiful little town.
