Room was incredibly dusty, seemed as though it had not been freshened up from the previous clean.

Great location, perfectly situated in Smithfields / Farringdon area. Love the Malmaison brand - stylish, contemporary, toiletries are great, decor is sleek and sexy. The hotel venue is in a lovely secluded square, away from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area.

The location was great and I liked the hotel as it was not huge. Everything was perfectly fine without being stellar. I arrived at 9pm or so and left at 630am to go straight to the airport so I didn’t have much scope to experience any of the ‘frills’ incl breakfast

Fabulous building, better location for what we wanted than we thought….
The upgrade to deluxe was absolutely worth it.
Only thing is popped down to the bar for a drink before heading home but was told the barman wasn’t there or available until 4pm.

Only stayed one night, but happy with everything, nice we could leave our luggage early on day of arrival and later on departure day.
Theatre was a little further away than we anticipated, but this was our error.

I did notice there were some areas that could have been cleaned better and the shower whilst awesome was difficult to work out!

The reception team were very helpful with parking etc. Lovely leafy location with a small garden square just outside, nice and quiet but still within reach of the touristy bits. If you don't fancy a walk the hotel will arrange a cab no problem at all. Just around the corner to Smiths of Smithfield which is a great restaurant and a nice small pub next door.
Malmaison have quite a dark interior design so don't expect a bright and airy scheme. Quite a compact bathroom even in the more expensive rooms but then you're in London so you don't spend too much time in there!

Perfect location from tube stations. Greeted with a very warm welcome, comfy bed & lovely room.

room was clean and location was good.
refurbishment works were going on in hotel so the A/C was off in my room. in place were two electric plug in heaters which made the room either too hot or too cold. I wasn’t warned about this when booking.
where the mini bar fridge used to be was just an empty space in the cabinet.
basin in the bathroom didn’t drain of water quick enough.
