Superb location, house had everything you could need for a trip.

It was exceptionally well equipped so we had everything we needed for self catering

The location was perfect, beautiful views, lots of outdoor seating too.

A stool or fold down seat in the downstairs shower would have been helpful for anyone disabled.

The property was everything we were expecting. It was spacious with plenty of room for our family of 5. When we arrived at the cottage, it was immaculate. The location of the cottage was perfect for everything we had planned, with plenty of walks not too far away. We would highly recommend a stay at Hawthorn Cottage and will hopefully return one day.

Everything was perfect in terms of the property. Couldn’t fault it. Lovely inside and outside. Very clean and perfect location. Was a really beautiful cottage.

One problem ruined the experience at the property itself, which was a real shame. I went to Scotland when they were experiencing unusually warm weather and the property was unnaturally boiling hot. It took ages to cool it down at night by opening all the windows and doors. Couldn’t relax in the property to be honest, and ended up spending days touring (not a bad thing) to avoid the heat.

The property was modern and spacious, very clean and extremely well kitted out with everything. Also some lovely touches with flowers, biscuits and pint of milk on arrival which made us feel very welcome. The decking area is spacious but also completely private and south-facing too which we loved as we enjoyed a bit of sunbathing. The view was gorgeous from all angles outside the cottage, truly breathtaking. Also the upstairs living area is fabulous with the velux windows that allowed us to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views while being inside. Great communication from the owner from the outset too.

Hawthorn Cottage is in a great location for exploring Glencoe and the wider area. The accommodation is spacious, very clean, well appointed and has a great outdoor seating area too. We would definitely return in the future and would highly recommend it. We also thought it was excellent value for money given the spacious layout and location.

The cottage was exceptionally clean and comfortable and perfectly located for touring the central highlands / west coast. The local shop was well stocked and there were plenty of eatery's within walking distance if required.

Self catering. perfect location

The cottage was immaculate and very high standard ,we enjoyed the place very much , everything in the cottage is very thought through, the host is amazing she sent few messages to make sure we had a great time and got everything we needed , even checked with us when we left if we were ok. All in all the perfect cottage we ever stayed everywhere.
