Generally everything, Room was a bit stuffy, breakfast good, location also, Nice Pool. We have stayed before and will visit again Thank you.

Sehr komfortables Zimmer mit toller Ausstattung. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage war perfekt, drei Minuten zum Strand, drei Minuten zum Zentrum.

Locatie

Kamer. Vieze vloerbedekking die ook kapot was. De kraan werkte omgekeerd. Mijn dochter brandde haar hand. Stop in de wasbak werkte niet. Gordijnen hingen niet helemaal in de haken. Vind de kamers heel erg gedateerd en smoezelig.

Ontbijt, thee en koffie op de kamer aanwezig. Prima kamer.

Alles was goed het heerlijke ontbijt de ruime openingstijden van het zwembad en sauna en vlakbij het strand. Super!

De ligging en de prijs

De werkzaamheden s morgens vroeg. Kreeg de indruk dat deze kamers zo goedkoop waren omdat ze vlak bij renovatiewerkzaamheden waren gelegen.

Prachtig hotel, mooie kamers, fantastische lokatie en overheerlijk ontbijt!!

Location in Egmond. Breakfast was outstanding. Rooms and public spaces were good but some parts could use some updating.

The hotel and rooms could use some updating. Other guests arriving (after partying) arrived after 2am being noisy in the corridors and on their balcony. Because there is no air conditioning, we left the windows open. But this of course exposed us to the noisy guests, their smoke and at times the staff taking breaks off the back-of-house spaces below. Maybe the hotel could remind guests the impact their bad behavior has on others. It cost them nothing but our experience and the value of an already expensive room were diminished.

Great breakfast, great location. Very friendly staff! The facilities are a bit too used and old, but everything is still fine and we had a very good price so we were super happy.

The gym was not really worth to call it a gym.

Location is good. Train ride from Amsterdam for about 30-40 minutes followed by a bus ride from Alkmaar station for about 20-30 minutes. Bus stop is 1 minute walk from the hotel. Beachfront is about 5 minute walk. Food at restaurant is good. Facilities are great - there is a swimming pool (indoor) with sauna (additional charge). Breakfast was extensive as well. Staff were pleasant all the time. Check in and cheek out times are strict.

Rooms could be cleaner. Carpets in the hallways were dusty and spaces under beds were not vacuum cleaned properly. The temperature in rooms are higher than expected (it seemed that ventilation is not working well). We stayed just for one night so we did not notice any other things that could make us complain about.

Small overcrowded Swimming pool, much bigger property than I had expected, more of a conference centre than a fun family hotel.

parking easy and convenient

Spa area, big bright room, big nice bathroom, pleasant staff, nice breakfast, parking next to the hotel, balcony view to the sea, tv, squash area, gym, nice restaurant

No robs, no slippers, no free towels in spa area, not comfortable mattress, no fridge in the room, no mini bar, no bottled water. Check in at 3, check out at 10:30 what is just strange. All the rest was just perfect.

very big and busy

A lot of extra facilities like a swimming pool, fitness space, bistro, etc. The receptionists and staff were very welcoming, polite and quick. Everything was clean and fresh… We really had a very enjoyable stay. This is a real hotel. And it really felt like a proper outing.

The only downside was the beds. The mattresses were too soft/saggy for our taste. But I am just used to having a tougher mattress I guess.
