Shower a bit slow also difficult to get temperature correct.

Central and value for money.

The room overlooked St Mary Street and even on a Monday it was extremely noisy all night from outside noise. Rowdy gangs, loud music, seagulls and then the bin men. I didn’t sleep at all. In fact, it was that noisy my friend who is hard of hearing in both years heard it and normally she would hear nothing at all!!

Excellent location for walking around Cardiff. Feels safe and staff are great. Good value!

The staff are absolutely wonderful, I can't speak highly enough of them. The location is very central and despite it being on a noisy street with lots of nightlife, I wasn't bothered at all by the noise.

Simple Central Exactly what we needed. A clean friendly place to sleep and within walking distance of everything we wanted to do! Would book again..

Alison, Simon, that lovely older lady in the breakfast room and the rest of the staff were all so friendly! It felt like being home. Loved the room, location and the atmosphere at the hotel!

I loved everything but if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room away from the street side.

Very good location, close to main attractions in Cardiff

The day we arrived it was raining a lot, we got wet due to the rain and got very exhausted at the hotel, and when checking-in they noticed that and that we were carrying very heavy luggage, and despite that and the fact that there is not elevator at the hotel, we were given a room that was on the 4th floor, which made our stay a bit difficult. We could have expected a little bit more of empathy considering our situation.

Location of hotel, convenient for train station, close to shops

Needed a heavier quilt on bed, a little bit of noise from the premises next door. I would have liked a room on the ground floor, not that good with stairs, otherwise all was okay

Great Central location

The room was clean, bathroom clean. Overall a little tired but for where it is value for money. The photos showed a bar but this was not open

location is great, very close to/ right in city centre. the room was incredible, exceeded our expectations with price - and the price is also very affordable. the bathroom was bigger than we expected - bonus. staff were absolutely lovely, welcoming and chatty. we were told we were able to access a microwave and fridge in a communal-type area which we personally have not had in hotels before. both me and my friend would definitely go back again.

The hotel is located right in the center of the city. It is very close to the Cardiff Castle and also to the main railway station. There are many stores and restaurants in the area. The free WiFi is very good. There is tea maker in the room. The heating system in the room works well.

The room is quite small. There is no elevator.

Perfectly comfortable and functional stay in the city centre.

I popped along early to drop my bags but the room was ready and Alison who was very welcoming allowed me to check in early.The room although decor is a little dated was spotlessly clean and a lovely comfortable bed.Alison checked if I was OK with street facing room as can hear noise particularly on a Saturday night.Extremely good for rail station and St Davids hall.Just be aware there are steps up to first floor.Will definitly be my first stop on future visits to Cardiff
