Good location

It was full of cats everywhere, even in the restaurant tables. The AC wasn’t working in the entire hotel, even the rooms where hot. Its simply disgusting having to endure a dinner with a stray cat on the next table.

This hotel is perfect for my 3 am arrival into Santa Cruz by plane. It is very very close to the airport, so I was able to get some rest and then the next morning enjoy the nice large hotel room and balcony, breakfast and beautiful pool and grounds. I would recommend this highly either coming in and out of the city for a trip.

Nothing at all I didn't like - the staff was friendly. I will say that it is not close to much in Santa Cruz because it is near the airport, but that is ok! Santa Cruz is busy so it is nice to be on the outside of the city where it is very quite.

Swimming pool

No elevator for our luggage and nobidy helping us. Nobody seemed to know where are room was. Could use a bit of more personal as well. Even though they were generally friendly.

The location was great! Facilities were clean and beautiful. Staff was lovely. Loved this place, definitely will stay here again!

The only one issue was I could hear the other guests through the walls and on the room above me. They weren't loud until late, but could still hear them pretty clearly.

I have to say that after enduring some of the not-so-great hotels we stayed in Bolivia in for 2 weeks, this was the highlight of our final two nights in Bolivia. This hotel is TOP NOTCH!, the staff is very accommodating serving your every need, and the room was exceptionally clean with all the amenities of a 5-star hotel, we enjoyed the pool, then a dip in the Jacuzzi as well as the dry sauna afterward. Also, the food at the restaurant was amazing!! and the service was perfect. I can't think of any more accolades for the Sun Hotel, all I can say is that I would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler to Santa Cruz Bolivia, I will go back in a few months but this time for business. Everything was perfect!

It was close to the airport, free shuttle and a pretty comfortable bed.

The room was not quite clean. The maintenance is not good….

I booked airport pickup for the night we arrived, but nobody was there waiting for us. I had to call the hotel and they sent a driver over at that point. The night driver was a nice guy though and help us with our luggage all the way to our room. The airport shuttle driver in the morning we left wasn’t very nice to us. It was raining really hard, but he didn’t help us with the luggage when we arrived the airport. Maybe we don’t know Spanish! He was talking a lot with the guy in the front, but say nothing to us. This is the very first time we didn’t give a driver any tip. The hotel rates itself 5 start hotel and it is a very nice looking hotel, but no elevators. Guests will have to take their big luggage up the stair or you will have to ask the staff to help. Breakfast is good with different varieties, however, you can see many flies around the food. No hair blower and sofa looks dirty maybe it is white color.

Great location near airport. Staff very friendly and helpful. Airport Van driver was a big help picking us up very early in the morning and great conversation.

Superb location close to the airport and great service.

Fine for a hotel airport. Free shuttle was nice. I had to leave too early for breakfast. Rooms are large with a nice tv and balcony.

Wifi was a bit weak. Shower was definitely a problem and the fixtures need to be updated.
