The vibe of the hostel is really nice and it feels like a little magical garden. It was really quiet and laid back, the personell was super nice. Especially the yoga classes were awesome.

Although the hostel ist located next to the beach, it takes ~15min walk to either La Punta or Zicatela which should be known.

Beautiful, tropical gardens surrounding the bungalows, clean and well taken care of. Wonderful staff working there. Will definitely stay there again next time. yoga classes on the terrace above their café, close to the beach.

Hard uncomfortable beds and hard lumpy pillows, really noisy at night, dogs barking and roosters crowing all night, difficult to sleep. Headboard on wall had someone’s greasy head print. Towels and linens are really worn out and yet the price per night is almost double what it was four years ago.

Omg I can not say how highly I rate this hostel. It is perfect. The bunks are in cute little cabins with thatched roofs. There is foliage everywhere, each room has its own private terrace with hammock and table and chairs and there's a communal one too. It's idyllic.

Cold showers but a small price to pay for heaven on earth.

Nico and his team are great, always there to help you! The whole atmosphere in the hostel is amazing. It´s definitely a quiet place to rest and charge up your batteries, but if you want to party there are a lot of possibilities near by. Also there is a lot of food to tase and explore. The beach is a 30 seconds walk away and not crowded at all. There are only 4 bed dorms and each has it´s own bathroom. Everything is being cleaned every day, which is great since you always bring back some sand from the beach. All in all it is a great place to stay and value for money.

No AC despite it being mentioned as a facilitet on Booking.com (only a fan, but it was ok), no hot water in showets, very bad and dim light in the rooms

For me it was a bit too quite, felt less than a hostel but more like a hotel as there are only two dorms and no common area except for the restaurant

we stayed in one of the huts (Morison) and it was very comfortable, clean and perfect for a couple. the hostel itself is in a perfect location close to the beach and the bars in la punta. the communal space at the bar is very welcoming and the food was very tasty. the best part of this hosts was the staff though, all very welcoming and super helpful; they helped us with booking activities and with suggestions for where we were going next. couldn’t recommend any more!

It is an oasis in Puerto Escondido. we spent around 20 days in total in Oaxaca (in different places) and this one was probably one of the best hotels we stated in. We were surprised because it was probably one of our cheapest and we were not expecting what we found at all. The hotel is beautiful, really well decorated, super clean, the landscape is beautiful and well-kept. We loved staying there! they tell you before you arrive that payments are in cash and there’s no hot water (for us was no problem because it is really hot outside and you really appreciate it) but I don’t understand when people complain about this because it was part of their rules, and they disclose as soon as you make the reservation.

could try and arrange some events on some nights to help people mix and mingle a little more. it’s a little bit further away from the main area but not that bad.

the stuff was really nice we slept at the only girls dorm and the room was cleaned every day there is also yoga classes and a nice restaurant overall I would recommend it if you don’t mind the walk

the location was a bit far from the center of la punta (10min)
