The friendliness and it was a wonderful old building in stunning settings

Charming period atmosphere with a luxurious feel and most importantly a very good night’s sleep. Wonderful menu available for dinner and next day’s breakfast.
Stairs will always be a problem for older visitors but help with luggage was offered. Parking not adjacent but not too far away. The painting of Belton Hall above the fireplace in the main dining room requires a larger frame more appropriate to the period of the building and village and to balance the mirror opposite. All these things are cosmetic compared with a beautiful stay.

I received a very warm and friendly welcome, my room was lovely and well equipped, when I went for dinner, they had placed me in a lovely corner in the restaurant so I felt extremely comfortable, the staff were extremely attentive , it was a very pleasant experience

This was an exceptionally lovely one-night stay just before Christmas. The decorations were beautiful, the food superb, the bed comfortable, and the staff so friendly and helpful.

The restaurant food was excellent, a good menu and all beautifully cooked. Lovely breakfast too.
The village is small and pretty, tucked away down little lanes but not far from main routes.
It's not a dislike, just an observation that a little more seating room in the bar area would be welcome.

Really beautiful country house hotel with very comfortable, spacious rooms. Excellent dining facilities with remarkably speedy service. Very helpful staff.
The bathroom lighting was a bit dim.

We had dinner in the evening which was perfect.
We couldn't open the windows in the bedroom . We like a bit of fresh air during the night, so this made our stay a bit uncomfortable. There was a fan but that's no substitute for fresh air.
