3.5
Location and facilities.
Breakfast very mediocre. Had I known I would not have paid extra and gone elsewhere. Pastries stale, cooked breakfast laid out on hot plates and looked unappetising and eggs congealed; so avoided and just had cereal and yoghurt.
2.5
Beautiful gardens
Felt like we sleeping in a kitchen it was so hot , fan did not cool us down. Restless night . Think we were above the the kitchen . The room was unbearably hot

Nothing
The room was foul, dirty, smelly, tiny box room with a double bed crammed in it. Refused to stay at the hotel and left to go to a holiday inn. Very disappointing.

breakfast the best
staff are lovely and accommodating
Evening meal not very good variety
jacuzzi cold not as bubbly as previous visits.

Nice room
No where to get a snack only a £10”panini which was a rip off and golf very overcrowded . Tee off time 2.20 no way could you finish round off before it got dark . Not a good menu for the mains not a good choice although starters and desserts were good .

We,liked the facilities, pool, sauna etc and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
Some of the staff could benefit from a refresher course in customer service, one or two displayed an attitude we wouldn't have expected in a hotel of this calibre. Also, the restaurant offered a very limited choice, especially as the hotel is a long way from any other eating establishments, and that which was offered wasn't of a standard that warranted the price we had to pay. Furthermore we intend to stay at Sprowston Manor again in a week or two but we won't be taking our evening meal in the restaurant for that reason.

Nothing
Fact that I couldn’t have dinner at the hotel. I have a severe allergy to dogs and let them know ahead of time so they placed me in a room opposite a person with a dog. The bed was rock solid and uncomfortable

Well we usually stay here to visit family. So obviously like it all
I didn't know we had to use stairs as all other times we used lift to get to our room .Husband can't do stairs and I have bad knee. But give them their do they found a room where we could use lift.
Next time I will make sure we have use of lift to room

Location is very quiet and pretty, breakfast, bar and spa facilities were good.
Property had lots of history behind it which was nice.
Hot tub in the spa- jets were very poor.
Bedrooms- bedroom 501 was fine for us but 402 for 2 people to stay in was very cramped and uncomfortable no room to put your cases anywhere could only walk around the bed as had no room due to the lack of space in the room, the design of the step isn’t necessarily safe especially with the little room you get in the room and it being next to a bathroom. The design of this room was very poor and uncomfortable/hot when 2 people are staying in it- I think it should just be a single person room. The bathroom in your lobby area was bigger than the bedroom!
Needs some TLC around the hotel such as room 501 has chips in ceiling and lots of cobwebs!
The cleaners never came to our room for the 2 nights we were there so we had no change of towels or fill up the tea/coffee or even toilet roll, had to ask reception for it due to running out. My nan had to ask me and my sister for our tea/coffee as they had used theres.
Need a warmer pool- it was freezing!

The food was a bit "average" and not up to standard with the rest of the hotel.

Comfortable
Breakfast range is small and the eggs and coffee was cold. Over priced for what you get

I liked the spa; our bed was comfortable too - and the food in the evening was alright.
However, the changing rooms in the spa were tatty and dirty towels lying around. There were hoovers left out of cupboards along the corridors in the hotel - just looks really scruffy. The man running the restaurant was quite grumpy, telling us we had to eat in the bar when we wanted to sit in the restaurant, even though it was still open. We asked again and he was quite apologetic, explaining he'd been working really hard. (This is not an official complaint.)

The room we had was very nice and spacious just very warm, we had some bathrobes and they came very handy when we used the spa. the breakfast was good just you need to book a time that's unusual for a hotel
there is no service in the day time, you cant get food or a drink on the bar as the bar only opens @6pm. you have to book your breakfast time, i never had to do this in a hotel it was always between times but never a booked time
4.5
It’s perfect the location great the spa great it’s clean couldn’t fault it at all
Nothing to be honest

I have raised a complaint but no one got back to me. I have several pictures of the poor decoration and mould in the room, it was not worth the money I paid and staff told me that no redecoration had been completed in 30 years, which was evident. There wasn’t enough towels, and the car charging ports (reason I chose the hotel) didn’t work and staff told me they never do work! It was once a lovely hotel but no longer can this be said!
Rooms need decorating
Bathroom mats mouldy
Not enough towels
Car electric chargers do not work, remove this from the website!

The hotel had a lovely feel about it when we walked in. The rooms were great and the bathrooms were decent.
Neither the jacuzzi or steam room were working in the spa which was disappointing. The floor in the swimming pool and spa area were dirty and should have been more regularly cleaned.
Some of the furniture in the rooms was a bit tatty.

You can tell it’s an old hotel but still so lovely and modern, rooms are big but not too big, bed was huge and so comfortable which is always something me and my partner look out for. View could’ve been better but was still good, lovely big bathroom and desk, nice big tv and also a nice sofa and table which was nice.
The one and only thing that I could say was the cleanliness could have been better, overall room was lovely and clean like sheets, carpets all that stuff, however our mini fridge in our room had a tesco cooked chicken breast in there clearly from the people who stayed in there before, was surprised when we found it considering it’s an odd thing to find haha but we didn’t use the fridge so it didn’t impact our stay too much but for the price you pay and as it’s a very high end hotel you would’ve thought that sort of thing would’ve been checked when the room is being cleaned for new customers, another thing was by the window behind the curtains at the top corners was there was some sort of dead bugs or wasps up there, I understand they’re probably hard to see and very high up but as soon as I moved the curtain to look out the window I noticed them, again it didn’t impact our stay and still had a lovely time but just thought those things would’ve been checked. Also wish the check out time was a little later as 10 is fairly early but not too much of a bother.

Good location for work, pool area was nice along with sauna and steam room
I didn’t realise that you don’t get house keeping while you stay at the hotel for 2 nights. No fresh towels or bedding made for when you return back to your room after working out all day, we couldn’t get a evening meal in the hotel on the 1st night we were told to order a takeaway from local restaurants, as hotel restaurant was fully booked, then we had to place all our rubbish take away in the hallway as no house keepers available, it was a first for us even though we were in a suite,
