The location is great! The breakfast was outstanding and the servers were wonderful! Nice to have parking nearby (be sure not to bring a very tall vehicle, it may not fit in the garage) The room was plenty big!

The hotel location is excellent, in the Altstadt right below the Kaiserburg.

Very hot in the room in summer. The blanket on the bed was also very thick, it was too hot to sleep. Reception employee was away from the reception desk at night, the door was locked and I've had to wait in front of the hotel door for quite some time for the employee to come back and open the door.

The Duerer is right in the heart of old Nuernberg, and is in walking distance from shopping, museums, and the famous market and cathedrals (and you can see the castle out the window). The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, and parking was on-site and secure. The breakfast was tasty, too.

We loved the location of the hotel in the Old Town, so much to see. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The staff were so helpful. The room was very clean. The parking at the hotel was great.

Due to energy costs they are not operating the sauna and steam room as advertised. That was the #1 reason we picked this hotel.

Charming small hotel well located in medieval city with restaurants and historical sites nearby and 10mn walk from metro station. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff is helpful and courteous. Homy atmosphere.
