Beds are comfortable, spa is good as well as the pool. Breakfast is amazing with lots of choices of food and drink. Friendly staff

Sometimes the temperature is are to get right. Most of the time it was too hot.

Location and pool.

Paid extra for a suite with a whirlpool bath. the bath was faulty only delivering boiling hot water and therefore unusable. Staff tried to help but without success. Dinner was mediocre with fish badly overcooked to the point of being inedible.

We have been before so was familiar and great location to Cambridge - use of spa

Fantastic staff. Excellent amenities. There was a wedding reception the first night we stayed and I was worried there would be a lot of noise, but we didn't hear a peep!

The only real downside I can think of is it the pool closed at 7pm on Saturday, which I found surprising as it's 10pm throughout the week.

The reception

The hotel was dirty, the food was under cooked the spa area half was not working and very dirty the bedroom and bathroom was dirty, the room was so hot and no air circulation and then there is a small light near the door it was bright so my partner when to turn it off she bend down and thought it was a press on, there was no signage and she burnt her finger severely I had to reception middle night, reception no first aid for burn, no ice pack so I had to go ask kitchen had ice no bags so I had to use ice and glove, no one offered to help and ask if I needed medical assistance, I went back and sorted, the blister this morning is massive and we will seek medical advice which will be a large cost, god help If that was child walking around I’ll be contacting the hse on this in the morning and a company your size should risk asses it and then put the relevant prevention in place, then to top it off the breakfast was cold over cooked and greasy, then I went to check out and to complain but there was 8 couples and a family in front of me, I could not wait so had to go, the experience was shocking and I have said in lots of hotels but health and safety issue’s should never be there !! I’m disgusted

Bedroom very good. Shower and bath in bedroom. Liked the fact they were cutting back on single use plastic in dining room.

Shower gel containers in both male and female changing rooms by pool empty. Ventilation ducts in female changing room filthy. No hairdryer in male changing room. Both coffee machines not working properly at breakfast time. Were slow to replenish food items after 9am despite breakfast going on till 9.30

The rooms were adequate. Beds OK.

The web site makes this out to be some kind of old mansion in its own park. It is in fact a maybe 30 year, old, rather shabby, purpose build motel on the edge of a light industrial/commercial area. OK for a low cost sleep, but dont expect too much.

Dog friendly, Restaurant staff went out of their way to accommodate us as we celebrated our daughters graduation event.

All good.

The spa was tiny and in need of a refurb - especially the changing rooms. No robes left at midday for use in the spa. Breakfast was ok but not the best choice. The hotel is in a weird position, close to housing estates and out of town shopping site. Just overall, not what you’d expect from a hotel with spa in its title!

Helpful receptionist when queried about local places to eat. Good leisure facilities. Reasonably quiet location with easy access and plenty of free parking.

Longer than desirable wait to check-in as only one member of staff on duty who was being kept busy by a couple that were asking lots of questions when checking in. Food at dinner was OK but not special at the price.

Bathroom, shower and toilet dirty. Requested the bathroom to be cleaned Evening meal and Breakfast disorganised . Obviously short of staff.

We were given a room without a cot waiting 3 hours, we were also given a room which I believe was a fire hazard. A lock room to another locked room. They had two events on which was extremely loud for my 7 month old baby. Tried booking a table at the restaurant was fully booked. There was only one staff member in on a Saturday on front desk. It was absolutely horrible. Hotel from hell

Location was good. Parking was good. Nice lively bar, didn't feel like a hotel bar.

Not enough pillows in bedroom (but we did forget to ask reception the next morning). Overall happy with venue and staff.

Breakfast was a bit of a hit and miss affair. what was there was lovely but until the last day no member of staff offered us a veggie breakfast or poached eggs. If you were a bit later going for breakfast then there was quite a lot of stuff missing, even bread!!. surely if breakfast runs until 9.30 then everything should be available until then. The lady working the dining room, Susan, was lovely and really helpful but she was totally overworked. definitely need more staff at breakfast.

spa the sauna steam room and pool as it was open to the public so didn’t feel like a relaxing or peaceful

location was ideal for where we needed but a little far from Cambridge town centre

very dated and room was very tired, dull and cold. large party of other guest who were very distributive and loud in spa area, restaurant and in their rooms. made our meal enjoyable and spa experience unenjoyable.

The food was excellent.

Drink prices were VERY expensive.
