very small room

The reception staff were so friendly and pleasant and couldn't do enough for us. We only stayed for one night but they made sure that we had everything we needed, explained about where to have breakfast if we needed it and offered their support for any other needs we had. The hotel itself was lovely, clean, fresh and nice and quiet despite its location right on the port or St Martin.

We were overcharged for the hotel. The quality of the rooms beds and bathroom was appalling we even found a kids toy while we going to bed how housekeeping missed it appalling but not surprising. It reminded me of a college/student accommodation. Thankfully there’s plenty of places to get a good breakfast outside to makeup for what we had paid for

A super kind and gentle reception lady that helped us a lot with the logistics of our bicycle tour. The location is without comparison : step outside of the hotel right into the lively port scene with shops, restaurants and cafés. Great hub for biking tours, car parking nearby.

Thé hôtel was perfectly placed in the centre of the port, straight out of the hotel to restaurants and bars. Perfectly quiet at night too considering it’s central location ! The staff, especially Valerie was super helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Air con was a great plus 👍🏻👍🏻

Thé décoration rather tired and there were no tea making facilities. Mosquito screening would be a big bonus as I was covered in mosquito bites by the time we left, managed to find and kill three even though we hadn’t had the windows open. No parking in the port, although there was car parking very close.

Location. Shops and restaurants are just downstairs.

FABULOUS LOCATION

we were unable to stay at the property as our car broke down in Spain & we were unable to get there. despite giving the hotel 6 days notice they refused to waive the payment. I felt this was unnecessary given the situation was beyond our control.

Disappointed! We have been waiting a long time to visit St Martin de Rey and after looking on line at the rooms which looked nice and modernised, we were given an old and tired looking room which was not very nice. Very pricey for what it was. We stayed in Bordeaux the night before and paid a similar price but the hotel was far superior.

great location, view of the port, easy to wander to restaurants, bars, cycle hire etc. staff were great, so helpful and attentive, breakfast good value

rooms a bit tired, but comfortable

the room was big so is the bathroom

outside of the window were a terrace for breakfast for hotel guests. We couldn’t rest well in the morning with people chatting and eating right next to our window. the staff was not honest to tell us about it before checking in.
