在褟褟米上鋪床墊的日式房間，而不是褟褟米上擺床的西式房間，乾淨舒適。冬天暖氣充足。白天到處遊走累了一天，得到充份的休息。不在觀光區，夜晚安靜。離熱鬧的觀光區很近。旁邊有好幾家不錯的餐館、當地小店、日式點心喫茶，不用去觀光區排隊人擠人。離巴士車站近，交通也很方便。服務生是中國人，非常殷勤，客氣有禮，溝通順暢。晚上發現沒有備品，大雪夜也不想再跑超商，在Booking.com上留言問問，原本不抱希望。沒想到敲門直接送上門來，有點驚喜。謝謝！住宿體驗遠高於星等。

1. 浴廁太小，和東京公寓的浴廁一樣小，很難使用。洗澡要忍受超小空間，不然就要去大浴場。 2. 早餐表定八點才開始，對於早上有約定行程（滑雪或趕機場）的人來說，有點困難。不過服務生很早就開始準備，七點多就有得吃，只是餐點還沒有上齊，但若只是要吃飽趕出發，也是可以的。

館内がとても清潔感があり綺麗。 大浴場もありゆっくりできた(21時頃に利用、他の利用者はなく広々使えたが、お湯の温度が高め) 部屋も暖かく過ごしやすかった。 朝も軽食が付いていてよかった。 チェックアウトも11時までだから朝から小樽の街を散歩してからチェックアウトできてよかった 隣の部屋の声が聞こえるが、この値段で泊まれるのならしょうがない。

玄関が狭い。靴棚が少ない。 雪のシーズンに行ったが靴棚がブーツでいっぱいだし、雪が上がり込んで玄関のすのこが濡れてちょっとベチャッっとしてた (いつも濡れていた訳ではなかったのでスタッフの方がこまめに掃除されてたんだろうなと思います。)

お部屋が新しい感じで、観光拠点には良いです。

諸外国の人がほとんどで、食事所の畳に廊下用のスリッパで歩いたり、マナーを求めたかったです。

地理位置很好，离车站很近，旁边全是吃的，离运河和步行街都很近！房主是个很好的北京大哥，热心的给你介绍附近的美食，走路到天狗山缆车35分钟，基本上不拐弯！房屋是和式的，每个房间有卫生间，早餐特别用心，有炒米，味增汤，牛奶，面包，烤肠等！平常自己带回来也可用微波炉加热！最重要的还有大浴室，每天泡个汤，别提多解乏了！

可以做个吃饭的和游玩的地图放在前台，每个人需要这些信息的时候都可以在入住时获取到！

Plum House is a great location for Otaru. It is quiet, quaint, clean, and very well equipped. The garden is sumptuous, and the staff available all day. At that price, I don;t think there is anything better. I strongly recommend!

위치가 너무 좋았습니다. 오타루운하랑 오르골당 등 주요 관광지가 다 도보권 이였습니다. 골목 사이사이 현지인 식당도 있어 좋었어요.

도착해서는 몰랐는데 침3ㅐ에 머리카락이 너무 많아 깜놀... 내 머리카락 인가 했는데 저는 긴머리임... 짧은 머리카락이 한우쿰...ㅠㅜ 침대 청결도가 많이 아쉬웠습니다.

No elevator for the rooms on the 2nd floor

Great location for tourist spots and restaurants. You can hear some local trains sometimes rattling by. Room had tatami mats, comfy futons and a nice view of the garden. The bathroom though small is well equipped, and there is also a large Japanese bathing area.

Spacious and fairly close to Otaru main station

Lack of clear instructions (in English); mediocre cleanliness (loads of long hair around - previous guests?!); and expect no cleaning service (I stayed for four nights). Worst of all, toilet was horribly non-ergonomic (worst I stayed in any accommodation in my decades of travel).

The host was so kind and impressive person. They are maybe Chinese but they try to understand the customer. I asked them some request they managed. It was so helpful. We are so satisfied with such a heart warming hospitality. If I could have any chance to visit Otaru I am sure to stay here.

Plum house is newly renovated and very clean. The rooms were a good size and very comfortable. The staff were also very responsive to our last minute booking.

The place was really clean, well-maintained and value for its price. Also, the futon beds on the tatami floor was really comfortable. Checking in and out was easy and quick with the friendly owner of Plum House who speaks Chinese and Japanese. He helped us with our luggages though there was no elevator, which was really nice of him. There were common basic facilities such as a fridge, dining tables and more. Don't hesitate to book a stay at Plum House, a pity we only stayed a night!

The Chinese man who seems to be a hired owner was so kind and friendly.

Poor communication via Booking.com. A free parking was promised but no such thing was there. There are physically only small space for three cars and we had to park our car on the street. A lady who came to help us was very kind but she "negotiated " with this Chinese man so we don't know who the real owner is. Probably neither of them. Next day a police came and we had to relocate our car - delayed our whole planning but that was not why we left there before fulfilling our second night stay, it was because of the unbearable odor in provided towels and something that made our skins so itchy - could be bugs on beds. All in all it was too tough to stay and we gave up our second night and quickly booked somewhere else to move. Another annoying thing was that it was impossible to get into the hostel with a car due to a local festival and associated road blocks. We couldn't imagine an owner unaware of this and gave us no notice. We had to go to a street office and negotiate by ourselves to get through the road blocks. Honestly, how hard is it to just organize all this and keep laundry clean. The place is probably best for young kids or students with no car. I'm sure they will not mind these. Not for a mid aged couple. Sorry but we shall not recommend here in our network.

The owner is really polite and friendly. They allow us to wash our clothes, the location is walking distance to otaru canal, restaurant and shopping area are all nearby...

The bathroom is quite small and uncomfortable to bathe for a BIG size guy..
