Cheap but comfy. And friendly staff.

I booked a room for the driver. The room was already paid and he was supposed to pay only 1.75€ tax. The automat didn’t work properly and he couldn’t pay the tax, so he couldn’t enter the hotel. I paid 42€, but due to 1.75€, the driver slept in the van. When I needed an invoice, I had to call twice, write 5 messages - nobody speaks English. I barely got the invoice.

We wanted somewhere cheap to spend the night on our way south and it was cheap. Good well- priced meal to be had at the Plancha Grill a short walk away.

The room was very tired and shabby - cracks in washbasin, missing hooks from door.. Noise from traffic.

Everything: 1. No Lift, my room was on 2nd floor. Had to carry my baby's stroller via stairs. 2. Super small hot room like a GAS Chamber. 3. Bathroom was super super small. 4. Breakfast was like only bread, butter, juice and coffee/tea.

Was advertised as having WiFi! It did not have WiFi!! Was advertised as having a wardrobe! It did not have a wardrobe!! Room very small, veel like! Soap dispenser in shower broken and not working. Overall, the place is in a bad state of repair and in need of an urgent upgrade. It was what I would call ‘shabby’. I will not be returning!

When you’re sleeping and someone opens the door at 9 and asks you to wake up so they can clean your room...

External ground floor room, so it was easy with my dog and to access my car. Bed was clean and comfortable. Room was warm.

The machine to register automatically was not working correcting so I had to go inside to pay. Also, I wasn't automatically given the WiFi code and when I phoned to request this I was given incorrect information, so I called back again to query this and the staff member said sorry she was busy and just hung up me! Tried phoning several more times but no reply. Also very noisy. Close to trainline. Really needs redecorating as paint scuffed and grubby furniture. Didn't shower as it was totally uninviting! Rather a grim room!
