Very noisy rooms. No sleep. Very hot. We didn't feel welcomed as we spoke English. All rooms are up steep stairs and we had an elderly person traveling with us. Limited breakfast options compared to the past 30 hotels on this trip.

Quiet, rural location. Good breakfast choice which we were able to enjoy outside. The evening menu had a good range of choices for main courses

Check-in was really easy and the room was very clean and well equipped.

Big room, comfortable matresses, modern bathroom, clean, nice breakfast, free parking, near lake Chiemsee.

Staff did not speak english . Sound proof of the room was not good . there is a church near the hotel and in the morning the bell rang non-stop every half an hour for about 3 minutes, so we wake up early.

Rustic wood , big rooms, modern bathrooms, clean and comfortable bed . Everything was sparkling clean. We love the restaurant indoor. Will recommend to everyone. Very quiet. Free parking.

Old building ( no elevator)

I had read about the breakfast with home-made jam, but the breakfast was above expectations: a Swedish buffet fit for dinner. The hotel is within six kilometers from Chiemsee Schloss. The landscape is rural, green, peaceful. The church bells beat every hour.

Excellent breakfast Good location for visiting Herrensee Palace. Very good value accommodation compared to staying next to the lake. This accommodation is highly recommended.

Problem getting key for room from key deposit box. Only resolved by another German speaking guest contacting hotel. Need to ensure guests are advised in advance it is necessary to get key from box.

Rooms are very nice and spacious. Modern and clean with nice balcony. Breakfast are very good, there is a room to leave your bike, restaurant and playground which is great.

Wi-Fi is not good.

The host was very friendly and made absolutely sure that we arrivered good and well at the room. The view was stunning and the balcony was very spacious and nice to spend an evening on. Overall a great place to stay for a one night stop.

We did not know the reception and restaurant would be closed on Monday. THere was no staff on site and we had to find a local restaurant nearby. The bathroom experienced a flood from the room upstairs.

A typical Bavarian establishment which was comfortable to stay in. Food was also good quality.

we stayed overnight driving to |Italy. wished we could stat longer. location looks good for exploring. Breakfast probably was very good, we left before 7am. dog has place to run around. we let ourself in at 10 pm.

It was great, the hotel and the restaurant are super comfortable and the staff makes the experience unique. It's perfect for travelers and it's quite but still close to the highway. I'm definitely coming back.

Both the bedroom and the bathroom were modern and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast with a lot of choice. Although their restaurant was closed, a coupon for a sister restaurant was offered. There is a lot of parking space.

Monday is their "Ruhetag" (rest day). Although we knew the restaurant would be closed, we expected some kind of reception, but no one was there. We checked our chat on Booking.com, but no messages about the check-in process. When we called the number hanging on the door, a lady told us the code which we needed to get the keys out of the key box. So we could check in, but it was quite confusing. We think it would be more convenient to inform guests on beforehand about the check-in system om Mondays. Because there was no reception, we didn't know where the breakfast was being served either, but for future guests: it's just in the same room as the restaurant ;-) Although we received a coupon for the sister restaurant, it was so busy over there, that we waited outside for some time and then decided to go elsewhere for our dinner.
