la vista a la bahía
está un poquito abandonado en mantenimiento.
3.5

the landscape and beaches are amazing. swimming pools are so clean and with many options.
the road was kind of tricky if you’re a good driver - book a local driver.
3.0
Good location with numerous pools and a private beach. The hotel rooms are very large and most if not all have a bay view. The bartender prepares great cocktails and the restaurant has good food.
The hotel is quite outdated and in need of maintenance. The bathroom was slightly dirty (ball of hair left). The ceiling had some cracks where water was dripping after the storm (nothing major though). The AC is very old and relatively noisy. The lobby bar could be more comfortable. Restaurant quite pricey compared to the hotel standard.
5.0
The various pools and different areas to be in.
Some things need a little updating, however, though, just in the week of our visit new umbrellas were put in. The lobby furniture could be updated and more comfortable.

the private beach, the view, the pools, the restaurant, the staff very friendly, excellent hotel
there's nothing to dislike

CR Acapulco is a classic hotel located on a steep hill facing the bay. It has a great view of the bay and a small private beach. Our master suite (7th floor) was VERY spacious, it had two rooms and a huge open terrace. We looked at 3 different rooms before settling on that one, all had slightly different sizes and furniture. There were two air conditioners and both worked well. We even had a private jacuzzi outside and it worked. Everything we asked for from the staff was delivered very fast and with no issues. We enjoyed swimming in the ocean as the water was very calm (a luxury for Acapulco) and warm. There was some basic snorkeling around the rocks on the left and right of the beach, although the water was rather muddy. They have three very spacious swimming pools, great for both kids and adults. The location is great, minutes away from everything. The hotel is surrounded by premium condos and the area has a gated entrance. There was private security always present at the entrance, it felt safe. The hotel grounds are well maintained.
As you would expect from an older hotel some items in the room were dated, although everything worked. Some WD40 would really help the exterior doors, for example, but the shower was problem free. The service was somewhat basic (we asked for an extended check out but they said no), and with some annoying nuisances: you need to sign up for beach towels, and they return you a copy of the receipt when you return the towel. Those towels have "seen better days". The food in the restaurant was kind of basic and lacked local variety: there were no tacos, for instance. There was a constant noise from multiple AC units. Although they probably can't do much about that, they definitely could have cleaned the AC unit areas from debris, some of those were visible and presented an untidy view. On the beach, there were many motor boats really close to the shore. They should consider expanding the restricted area. That said, overall we had a very pleasant stay and the hotel exceeded our expectations.

We stayed at room 918 but it´s too far from pool/beach. We needed to take 2 elevators in order to reach our location. Hotel location is too far from main avenue.

The location is perfect and has it's own private beach. You can go snorkling and look at all the fish.
Also the breakfast was very good.
They prebook credit cards before arrival and are seemingly unable to remove these prebookings and instead book the final amount in a seperate booking.. To this day, 14 days after we left I still have more than 6000 mxn prebooked on my card and they don't understand that they should and have to release the amount...
Also the climate system in our room kept failing. They were trying to repair it multiple times each day until we finally got another room with a working climate system.
All in all this beautiful hotel seriously needs some better staff.

The Hotel was very clean and the service was excellent. The restaurants were good and drinks as well. Here you get what you paid.
The only thing was tue shower. It had a very small tub it was hard for some one like me to get in there but other that it was spacious

The private beach is outstanding, it is like a blue and green pool where fish swims around you. staff in the pool and beach are very friendly. the hotel is located in a bay with great views.
Rooms are old and some furniture is broken (ie WC). the hotel is very safe because access is restricted, but you need a car to go anywhere outside of the hotel as food in the hotel is not great and it is very pricey.

the relation between the quality and price. So expensive.
