- the location was amazing, the villa overlooks the church and is a 2 minute walk to the main beach in Positano
- the staff were so helpful and friendly - they offer beach towels and an ironing service which was great

The staff at Villa Flavio Goia was excellent. Both Vittorio and Christiana at the front desk were extremely helpful in many issues. From getting our luggage to the taxi meetup to getting dinner reservations- the team went beyond expectations and did it with a smile.
The location is another great bonus- close to the beach, which means not having to walk up the crazy steep hills of Positano, was great. Our apartment with two bedrooms and three bathrooms was clean and spacious. This was a fabulous choice for our trip and would highly recommend a stay.
Only negative is that you have to get your luggage to the hotel through a walkway - no cars allowed- but they do have golf carts that can take your luggage for a fee.

The accommodation Villa Flavio Gioia is located in the middle of the pedestrian zone. Various restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Our room did not have a sea view, but it was very spacious and nicely furnished. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The shower was a little difficult. We put a large part of the bath under water.

Beautiful property, great location and exceptionally helpful staff. Walkable to all main areas and great restaurants. We also loved the Italian musicians we could see and hear from our balcony, a true treat.

very well located next to the sea front and a cute square by the church. the room had a very nice view of the ocean and was quite clean. the staff were very friendly overall
the amenities were quite simple, and the price of the hotel relatively high for what was offered (although the location in Positano likely explains this)

Room, kitchen and balcony that was perfect for pre evening drinks and people watching. Vittorio on the front desk was amazing and helped us organise our stay from booking a boat trip to organising the best restaurants in town.
People coming home through the church square can be quite loud in early hours (the Americans mostly) so pack some earplugs if you go to bed early.

The location and service is great.
Based on the images, we were expecting a better room, but the one we received was quite old and dark, very disappointing.

We stayed in the very top studio with the huge terrace. And man was it worth it! I think that room may actually have the largest terrace in the whole town! Breath taking views and very comfortable room! We had breakfast every morning on the table looking out over the Mediterranean. The location is perfect. Right in the center of everything so you didn’t have to climb too far for anything. Also the staff were soooo helpful and kind! They helped us with making dinner reservations each night!
Nothing. I can’t say enough great things about this hotel and it’s staff! Stay here!!! If we get the chance to come back this is the only option!

The location, the view from the balcony, the room, the staff… everything was perfect. The room was so beautiful and comfortable that we ended up spending the hot midday time in the room & on our balcony with the nice view. The bathroom and the small kitchen was excellent. The reception staff were very nice and very helpful.

The staff on reception were exceptional in their helpfulness, local knowledge, guidance and advice. I was extremely impressed.
The cleaning of the rooms didn't include washing up in the kitchenette, yet no brush, sponge, etc. was provided. If you want guests to clean up after themselves, then please facilitate them to do so
