The hotel was great. The bedroom was delightful but slightly small for a guy of my size as was the shower cubicle, which personally I had a slight issue in getting into as it was a corner opening cubicle. Apart from that, which is of course a personal problem, the stay was very enjoyable.

There could have been more plugs for the user in the bedroom. I had to unplug the side lamp in order to use the charging plug which we brought from the UK.

Our room was very nice and better than expected. It was also very quiet and clean. The hotel is located in the center and near the beach too. I really liked the services, especially the breakfast that was superb! We’ll come back for sure.

The structure is a bit old, a refresh could be add more value.

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast had a lot of variety and was served under the very lovely outdoor kiwi trellis. The room and bathroom were a bit small but comfortable and sufficient for our one-night stay. We discovered that the hotel chef has a Michelin-starred restaurant in Lavagna!

There was only one plug in the room that was accessible to us and it was on a splitter behind the minifridge so a bit difficult to access. The water pressure in the shower was inadequate. There was some confusion about the parking - I had booked a parking place when I reserved the room but upon arrival we discovered that the parking lot for the hotel was 2.5 kms away and accessible only via a shuttle which only ran until 10 pm! Fortunately there was a public lot in a piazza just 50 m beyond the hotel and, since it was a Saturday night, we were able to leave the car there as Sunday parking was free.

Hidden GEM! I loved how modern and clean the room was, an absolute delight fragrance as soon as you open the door. Images does not do right to this lovely hotel. The thoughtful details really made our stay better, the minifridge the washing line to dry up our beach towels, just outside the window. A/C makes it all even more comfy. The elevator made it super easy with my toddler on a stroller. Breakfast was delicious served in the lovely patio garden. The location was the BEST, a few steps from the train station and the beach. Absolutely recommend

Hotel Alba was so warm and welcoming! We came at a very busy time in Lavagna and they went above and beyond to get us settled. The morning we were there was our anniversary and they made it start out beautifully by singing us a anniversary song during breakfast. I wish we could’ve stayed longer! Thank you, thank you!
