Everything was wonderful! Staff could not be kinder and felt so well taken care of. Amazing pool and proximity restirants and shops.

Loved this place. Very clean, extremely friendly and helpful staff, and perfectly located right next to the Chora. The pool is beautiful and we even extended our stay a little just to spend more time there. We plan on staying here again in the future.

this hotel was awesome, so pretty with all the flowers & greenery. The pool area was beautiful & the pool was sparkling clean all the time. there were plenty loungers for all the guests. Our room was so spacious & had everything we needed. The outside patios on either side gave us many options for relaxing. Dimitrios was very helpful & friendly as were all the staff. It was also very close to the Centre of Chora, an easy walk to all the restaurants & shops

Beautiful grounds, clean room with balcony, pool was pristine!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was perfectly clean and the view of the famous church was amazing. The pool area was beautiful with lots of seating options and greenery. The location was great - only a couple of minutes walk to the bus stop and all the restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. The hotel arranged complimentary transfers to and from the ferry which was very helpful. The breakfast had lots of options to choose from. The staff gave me a gift of honey from their own hives to take home to Australia which was a really thoughtful touch!

Unfortunately, the Wifi wasn't that strong and struggled during peak times. However, as I was on holiday it didn't bother me that much as I wasn't trying to complete any work.

Dimitris was very helpful and the location ideal for exploring Folegandros. Rooms had lots of lighting. Rooms well equipped.

Very comfy property, lovely quaint room witch a gorgeous balcony and view, lovely staff who put themselves out to ensure we had a comfortable and stress free stay, perfect location in Chora, so central. Beautiful pool, good breakfast! Really appreciated the free transfer to the port, something the hotel could’ve easily made money out of. Made us feel very welcome!

We visited other hotels to compare. When we came back at Polikandia it looked like we entered paradise. The pool, the decor, just beautiful! The staff - Yannis, Stelianos, Roula, Dimitris are friendly and very accommodating. We will go there again! The hotel location was great in that it was near very good restaurants and shops with great views!

It is impossible to find anything critical about Polikandia hotel and the staff!

This family owned and runed business is a welcome sight to this quaint island. The owners make you feel like your at home. They go the extra mile to make your stay is a memorable one!

Everything was excellent. Thoughtful, attentive service. Superb hygiene standards and care regarding Coronavirus. Our stay was made more enjoyable due to the hospitality and service received from Dimitris, his family and colleagues. Lovely hotel and superb pool.

I really loved my stay here, the staff were absolutely incredible and couldn’t do enough for you - they even gave us a free upgrade. The pool was beautiful and the location was perfect. The hotel itself was slightly dated (e.g. rooms were dark, old bed), but wasn’t a big issue as there’s plenty of space to relax around the pool!

Our stay in Polikandia Hotel was absolutely perfect and made by Dimitris. His generosity and hospitality was the best. First the hotel, the room was amazing, with a beautiful terrace and great views. The pool area with the garden is beautiful, a calm relaxing oasis. The location was perfect, a minutes walk to the heart of Chora and next to the bus stop. The hotel is very clean and taking Covid seriously; without it infringing on your stay. Complimentary masks and sanitizer in the room. The best part was Dimitris himself, nothing was too much effort for him, free collection from/to the port, treats in the room (including a glass of wine each and a nice portion of grapes after a long day of hiking), a late check out and even drinking a homemade lemonade from him now just before we leave. If you visit Folegandros you should stay here and experience the wonderful hospitality.

Extra care with implementing safety during Covid-19. Very clean and comfortable spot. We had everything we needed, which made it very easy to avoid large crowds in the chora. We had transport to and from the port, all the drinks we needed by the comfortable sunbeds, and excellent hosts to make our stay even better. Choose this hotel if you want the most atmospheric and cosy "protective bubble" this summer. Highly recommended!

We only wished we had a breakfast option, or more food options from the kitchen. We would have trusted this hotel's kitchen more than the restaurants in the chora. This is also a testament to how clean this hotel is...
