We traveled from the Pacific Coast to visit future family for Thanksgiving. The home was just what we needed for a group of four. We used the kitchen to help prepare dishes for the meal. Great place.

We enjoyed our time at Drake's Escape. I stayed with my children and grandparents for my son's tournament week at All Star Village. The property was as pictured and very clean. Linda was easy to work with. We were able to drive to the fields in about 10-12 minutes. We loved watching the storms from the porches.

Stayed in the family house. It was everything we needed. Linda was very helpful and a great host.

We stayed here with our 3 younger kids while our oldest played at All Star Village. It was a close drive to ball fields (10ish minutes) and near restaurants, grocery store, Dick's (in case your son forgets his belts too!) etc. Due to the baseball schedule and rain we didn't get to explore the town much but ice cream at Adaline's was delicious and pizza/food at Nina's was yummy. Had some sushi from Tokyo and it wasn't the best. We met the "neighbors" staying at the other Drake property our last day and wish we had met them sooner, but...baseball and rain! So fun to be near other families there for the same reason. Kitchen was well stocked, condiments and all. Very clean. Great yard! Linda was a great host! She was there when we checked in and when we left. Available via text - I was looking for something one evening and texted her and her daughter brought it over from across the street! So sweet! No toiletries, so bring your own shower necessities!

Our family booked this property literally at the last minute when our original VRBO booking was not in serviceable condition. I messaged Linda our situation and within 15 minutes she answered back that she was happy to accommodate us. Within one hour of me messaging her we were moved into the property. I can't believe how easy they made it for us. The property was clean, fresh, and in the right location, only 10 minutes away from All Star Village. There is plenty of space for a team gathering on the property and Linda actually encouraged us to bring them over! Five stars for everything except communication and check-in. For those, if I could 100 stars I would. Our trip would have been spent sleeping on the floor of a teammates VRBO if it wasn't for Linda and this property! Thank you so much!!!

The house is exactly as described, the large kitchen made meal prep a breeze and three comfortable bedrooms were the perfect resting place after long days a CASV. The property and pavilion is perfect for hosting team gatherings and some other families from the team rented the other two cabins so we used the backyard quite a bit for bbq's and hanging out. Linda and family were very welcoming and responsive. This property was perfect for our stay and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

This property has a lot of amenities to offer. If you think you are going to be on-site for any significant amount of time this property you will have plenty to do. Linda communicates well and is available if needed. We would definitely consider renting this property if we ever return for another stay.

The set up with the two cottages on site is awesome. We stayed in the house and had other families from The team in the cottages it worked out great for a team gathering. Tons of space for lots of families to enjoy. The house is in a great location and Linda was very helpful and was there if we needed anything. Would highly recommend this place.

We rented this property to watch my son play at All-Star Village. It was 10-15 minutes away depending on traffic. Great quiet neighborhood. Host was amazing!

The house was very clean, had everything we needed for the week, perfect location, and the owner was very responsive to any questions. She also had a book of helpful things to do and eat close to the house. I would highly recommend it!

Our host Linda was amazing! She gave us great recommendations for local food spots and points of interest. She was always super quick to respond and the house was spotless. The house was very comfortable and had a huge kitchen. We loved the super large backyard which had a tire swing and basketball hoop too. Would definitely recommend this spot!

I rented this home for my son's week at All Star Village. I wasn't sure what to expect when I got there, and I was so happy to find an amazing property. Linda was wonderful and so accommodating. She has recommendations from places to eat, things to see, and was always available to answer any questions I had come up. What I didn't know is that the property has 2 other houses on it (I believe they're called Drake's Escape?) as well as a pavilion that's perfect for team parties. If I'd known, I would have had 5-6 families all share those houses and the property together and it would have made for an even more amazing week. I think the other 2 houses are newer than this one. This house isn't the newest, but the kitchen is a great size, the beds are comfortable and it had everything I needed for the week. The location is perfect - about 10 minutes to the ASV baseball fields and just 5 minutes to downtown Oneonta. The property is on a huge lot with a beautiful pavilion that is perfect for hosting team parties. Our entire team and all families came over for 2 different nights to grill and hang out. We had close to 60 people and there was more than enough space for everyone to eat, hang out, and the boys played wiffleball and basketball. I would definitely stay here with a number of other families if I came back (unfortunately, this is my youngest so we won't be able to play Cooperstown again). Take a look at her other 2 listings and book with your team's families!

We stayed here during Week 1 of Cooperstown. Great location to fields, stores and restaurants. Linda was very responsive to all questions and even brought fresh flowers by one morning. We really enjoyed our stay.

Everything is as advertised. A quaint house that is close to downtown, but nice and quiet. It is 10 minutes from the ballfields. The house has everything you need. The washer and dryer were great, and both bathrooms were spotless. Linda is a great owner. She is very responsive and friendly.

Conveniently located near shopping and restaurants with a beautiful neighborhood for my nightly walk. Linda was very responsive to us during our stay and was an excellent host. We had a good stay at this property. It was convenient to All-Star Village, had a big backyard, good wi-fi and was very clean. Linda was responsive and easy to deal with.

Linda was kind enough to rent us her home when we needed someplace closer to stay for SUNY's graduation weekend. This is an older home, which I love, but was modernized and well appointed with all the comforts of home, including fast internet, and a newer bathroom with shower on the first floor. The home was very clean, and quite roomy. While located in a quiet area of town, it is minutes away from the colleges, Main Street and shopping areas. It was a pleasure renting from Linda, and I would not hesitate to do so again should our travels take us back to Oneonta in the future.

Convenient location to downtown Oneonta, located in a quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and comfortable. Roomy for a family or group. We traveled with our one year old son to meet friends, and appreciated a high chair that was made available. With a fully equipped kitchen and linens, it was a perfect home away from home!

We enjoyed our stay at Drake's escape. The house was warm and clean, beds were comfortable, roomy kitchen/dining area for cooking, hanging out, playing cards. It was the perfect space for our family get together. Only problem was the driveway and sidewalk to the steps was very icy and treacherous. We could also have used a few more wash clothes in the bathrooms. Otherwise everything was great.

This Home took me back in time. It felt like home away from home. Very simple and comfortable.

Drake's Escape had everything my family needed while on vacation, places to sit and relax, enough space to be together and enough space to spread out, a large kitchen with room for everyone, where food was cooked and great conversations were had. The house was minutes from Cooperstown. Linda was available to contact for anything and she sent ideas of places to go and let us know about some things in the house that we may not have known were there. This was a very good choice for my family and I would highly recommend this selection.

We enjoyed our stay. We had a son playing at the Cooperstown Allstar Village (About 10min drive). Our other children were able to run and play in the backyard and have some room to play rather than a hotel. Everything you need is in the house for your use. Nothing fancy, just a nice place to stay and kickback while running back and forth to the ball park. The Aseltine Family 7/2018
