Its location. Very restful. Loved seeing the horses.
The only thing was the tea. I had to use 3 tea bags for a small pot in order to get any flavour.

Cherry Cottage was spacious, comfortable and warm. It was clean and well-fitted out with all that was needed for our stay. The breakfast supplies provided by the hosts were really welcome after a late arrival. Communication was excellent. The bed was large and cosy during winter with nice linen. It was well located for my needs near Cambridge.

Diane the Host bought fresh milk and eggs and juice and bread for us when we met her. There was homemade shortbread and the cottage was well stocked with everything we needed.
The grounds were just beautiful and many plants were flowering. The property is within easy reach of the town, but just far enough out so you knew you were in the country.
I will definately have a few days there the next time I travel to NZ/

Super friendly and explained where we had to go very well. The area is really nice, and we loved how it was rural. Wish we were there for longer.
Some of the dishes were a bit dirty, so we had to give glasses a good wash to get lipstick off. But it can't be helped if guests use the dishwasher and pack away their own dishes.

Beautiful cottage, well appointed, lovely decor, park outside door, private patio, horses and fields around, full kitchen, flexible hosts, great bed, great shower, felt roomy, rural but close to town.
No one met us so we didn't know to go straight in should maybe be emailed the week before that. But also no one bothered us and it was great.

Beautiful little cottage in a beautiful spot. The bed was extra comfortable!

Clean (except for roasting tray). Well equipped kitchen, and washing machine was a bonus. Quiet (apart from some road noise while outside). Plenty of room (for three adults). Nice sunny courtyard. Comfy bed.
Uneven steps to raised area (bordering on unsafe) - we found this raised area just plain odd!
Needs better lighting in kitchen.
Flies are always going to be a problem in rural area, so an ultra-violet fly-killer would be useful.
