The road in Port Alfred is not very 'helpfull' to reach your destination. Local council can really do something to upgrade it. Google maps are also not much of a help.

Everything about this hotel was beyond expectations
The only thing I would not recommend is the Thistle restaurant within the restaurant. Their food was not good at all. Fat lamb chops with no taste and juices tasted very bad.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Observant staff anticipating our every need. Lovely breakfast with a free glass of bubbly, great meal at The Highlander pub. Staff were fantastic with the two-year-old in our group.
Nothing at all. Perhaps a sea view would have been good, but while the hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of busy beaches, it is also really close to Port Alfred's wide selection of beautiful beaches.

The service is always great from the reception staff and the breakfast ladies are exceptional. The spa experience was great and the heritage rooms are a treat with some great comforts.
The coffee machine was not properly cleaned so we didn't use it..

Breakfast was delicious with wide varieties. The location perfect and close to the golf course. The staff was so friendly and helpful. A big thanks to Clement, Brenda, Carol and Robyn. You guys rock! The attention you gave us was really awesome and you went all out to make us comfortable and to meet our demands and making our stay unforgettable.
