Couples getaway in small town, Waxahachie, Texas. 10 acres of fields and forest.
Avez-vous déjà séjourné dans un silo à grains? Cette maison de silo est une escapade unique en son genre à seulement 30 miles au sud de DFW. Sur 10 hectares magnifiques de champs et de forêt. Avec une entrée fermée et toute l'intimité et la tranquillité pour un excellent séjour. Profitez de levers de soleil à couper le souffle avec une tasse de café sur le balcon de la chambre. Allumez un feu et admirez certains des plus beaux couchers de soleil. Ensuite, allongez-vous sur la chaise longue et admirez une vue à 360 degrés des étoiles. Pas de lumières de la ville. Vous êtes peut-être à la campagne mais avec ce silo vous aurez beaucoup de luxe. Faites fondre la ville dans notre douche de sauna à vapeur pour deux personnes équipée d'une radio et de lumières changeantes. Vous définissez l'ambiance. Téléviseur Samsung UHD 60 'avec son Theater et lecteur BlueRay et Firestick. Lecteur LP avec LP dans la chambre, super petit endroit pour danser. Faites un pique-nique au bord de l'étang saisonnier (pas de poisson). Promenez-vous dans la forêt BigFoot ou détendez-vous, faites une sieste ou observez la vie sauvage dans le hamac. Il peut y avoir des moments où nous sommes sur la propriété lorsqu'ils ne sont pas sur la récolte, mais ne vous dérangeront pas pendant votre séjour. Absolutely adored this property! Enjoyed our stay here! Definitely great getaway from the fast paced lifestyle. Ordered take out, took advantage of the quietness & great amenities! Decals & property were definitely one of a kind & unique! Host was great, especially answering in the middle of the night! TYSM!

A fun interesting property in a grain silo. Had everything we needed and was close to town and some good restaurants and a fun wine tasting room. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening.

This is a great place for a single or couple to get away. Spacious kitchen, living area, bedroom and bathroom. We loved that they provided some board game options.

The property was beautiful! The hosts put a lot of effort into making this place a beautiful spot to stay. The icing on the top of the already wonderful cake is the hot tub we enjoyed after a long day at the Renaissance Fair. We would absolutely stay again!

Not enough wonderful things to say about this hideaway! The love and detail is evident throughout the property and inside the Silo (home). The hosts are super available when needed and the check in and out process seamless. The hot tub was a nice addition to the relaxing stay, pretty much feeling like you are in luxury, but also out in nature... One of my favorite features is the balcony where at night, you get to see the stars as well as city lights far into the distance. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. I would stay there again the next time that I go to the Scarborough Renaissance Festival. 10 out of 10 stay! :)

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend while visiting Scarborough Ren Faire. The silo house was very nice. Loved the eclectic decor style! The property grounds are very nice too. Will be back for another visit.

It was exactly as advertised. Extremely unique!!
The owner's made a concerted effort to respect my privacy--although unecessary, as they were the kindest folks. If I'd had the opportunity, I would've spent some time with them at a bon fire, but my work shcedule just wouldn't allow it.
It was an extremely peaceful and comfortable stay and will definitely stay again when in that area!!

My wife and our two dogs really enjoyed our long weekend at this most charming silo house. The hosts were amazing and made the whole process seamless. If you find your self in the Waxahachie area we recommend you consider this home.

The Silo House is unique but it’s also comfortable. The furniture is functional and there are great indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy. Owners were on property while I was there but super respectful of privacy. I enjoyed my time and hope to visit again!

This property was very uniquely designed and decorated! We totally enjoyed the stay! The Silo House was very clean, comfortable bed and a really cool shower. The grounds were very nice, private and quiet. If you are looking for something different, this may be the place!

This home is charming, decorated in a really fun way. Very clean. Bed is comfortable, sheets and towels are high quality. The correspondence is directly with the owners and they are very quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend this property for anyone staying in the area!

The silo was a fantastic experience and a great location. It had everything you needed for a fantastic weekend getaway. The property does need a little TLC but I enjoyed it thoroughly. Bed was to soft lol. Beethoven was a wonderful surprise and enjoyed and welcomed his evening visit (St. Bernard). He put the icing on the cake.

I can't say enough good things about this property.
The silo was clean, well decorated and had every amenity you could ever need, including wi-fi.
The owners of the property were exceptionally nice and were very responsive to any questions that I had.
The property is gated, which made me feel extra safe while staying there as well.
I would recommend this cabin to anyone and I hope I get to visit again.

Very nice little home on a nice quiet property. We stayed close to home for a little getaway and this place was perfect. Check in and out was easy and straight forward and we would recommend.

My wife and I searched for a unique property in order to celebrate our anniversary and this fit the bill! This one of a kind home is tons of fun but doesn't rely only on its personality. It is well thought out and appointed, impeccably clean and included everything needed for a stay of any length. Downtown Waxahachie and numerous restaurants are only a short drive away.
Beethoven did his part as well to ensure we were well looked after. We'll be back!

Unique country getaway
The silo house is a unique, quiet get a way. We had a nice, relaxing anniversary weekend away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. They had every thing you could need to just kick your shoes off and forget your worries. We had a blast listening to the goats. Would love to come back and visit again!

Serenity at the Silo House
We were impressed from the moment we drove on the property. Definitely my dream house on the perfect piece of land. We felt very much at home. Beautiful place with so much attention to detail. A home decorator's dream come true. A field of goats to enjoy, cows in nearby field, and a very friendly neighborhood dog that we fell in love with! Kudos to the Tammingas!!!

Weenjoyed our stay at the Silo. It's nice and quiet... Which is exactly what we were looking for. We loved listening to the albums.

Relaxing Getaway close enough to everything
We had a wonderful getaway in this fun and relaxing atmosphere. Close to our family in Midlothian for visiting, then our own place for evening respite. Very clean and all the comforts of home. Easy communication with owners and easy access to the private rural property. Definitely hope to return!

Disappointing cleanliness and no hot water
The silo is unique and nicely done on the inside. Cleanliness was an issue as there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher that had been there for several weeks. The smell was awful and mold was growing on the dishes. An old coffee K-cup was still in the Keurig and it also had mold. Shelves in the refrigerator had not been wiped down...some had dirt and dog hair.
The most frustrating thing was we had no hot water in the steam shower. The owner's response to this..."turn the steam up to 100 degrees." Steam does not rinse the body. I had to heat water in a big pot and carry it upstairs so that we had water to rinse the soap off. We were very disappointed with the owner's total lack of concern regarding the absence of a necessity (hot water) that you expect when you stay somewhere.
