We so enjoyed our stay! The host was exceptional…quick to respond, checked in to make sure everything was ok and provided an amazing home. The pool is beautiful! The outdoor patio was the perfect spot in the morning and in the evening! The home provided the perfect space for our family as we traveled to California for our son’s wedding. It provided exceptional space for everyone to gather together and have their personal space! It was just perfect!

The photos of the house on the vrbo website were looking good. But at arrival it was very disapointing. It was very very dirty, stains everywhere in the kitchen and bathrooms and everything in the kitchen was sticky from grease. We are a family of 6 people, there were only 2 forks, one cooking pot, no kitchen towels, no fabric cleaning wipes. The tile countertops are damaged , they can not be cleaned well. The kitchen is very old and should be replaced. There is mold in the refrigerator... people can get ill from dirt like that. Everywhere was dust and hair in the beds. When we took the sheets of before we left the house we found hair and dirt and stains on our mattress. The mattress in the downstairs bedroom should be replaced, you can not ly straight, you will roll over. The house is on a busy loud street. Not relaxing at all. The house needs a deep cleaning and repairs. When you pay a cleaning fee you expect to find a clean house and it was not!! Really really disappointing experience! I WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND THIS HOUSE TO ANYONE !!!!

The house was not clean, mold in showers & on kitchen counters. Needs a deep cleaning. Bathrooms have been remodeled but kitchen counters & cabinets need to be updated. Master bedroom very noisy because it's backs up to a very busy street. Would not stay there again.

This place was in a great neighborhood felt very safe and secure. It was about a 40 min drive to Disneyland. Wasn't the cleanest very dusty. Upstairs shower wouldn't drain it was full of hair that we had to pull out and the toilet in the master bedroom kept clogging and the dishes were all dirty. The walls all over the house had stuff splattered on them. Upstairs shower curatin was nasty as well. Also make sure nobody flushes the toilet while your in the shower because you will get burned. Definitely needs some TLC. We wouldn't stay there again. The owner of the property had great communication and was quick to respond to messages. If they fixed it up and did a deep clean could be a nice place to stay.

We had a great time and enjoyed staying at the property. It made traveling much easier. The pool and jacuzzi made it easy to relax also.

Great experience overall. Was not able to use the pool because it was not open yet and could not park in the driveway which was weird. The garage was definitely big enough for two cars though. It was a great area and the house was beautiful.

It could've been cleaner. But it met our needs and was a great location. Bonus was property well stocked and great host communication!

We booked the house as a crash pad for our Disney trip so we weren't at the house much but it was exactly what we needed a safe place to sleep.

Loved the area and the property. There was plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable. We had a miscommunication at checkin but the owner was easily reachable and was able to resolve it quickly. Perfect for families and small children.

The owners were great to communicate with, very quick to answer, very helpful. We had 8 of us, the house was spacious and met our needs wonderfully. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable. The location was great. We felt very safe and the view was fantastic. We have no complaints. We do have a suggestion; there could be more towels and the floors were in need of cleaning. Our experience was wonderful and if we would ever come out this way again, we would definitely be back. The place was nice, instructions clear, enough space in the bedrooms and bathrooms, overall enough space, relaxed and fresh around the house with the plants, near the mall, good to had security

Showers are a trickle, some parts of the unit have been renovated...bathrooms need work. A value for the price though...

This house was very nice and spacious. It was a lot of room for my family, everyone had their own room and bathroom and it was very, very comfortable. I would stay again if I’m ever in the city !!! The owners were also quick to reply to all our messages!

In general we had a good stay but it lost stars for lack of cleanliness. This seems consistent with previous reviews.

After reading other reviews, we were concerned about bug problems. Good news, there were no problems with bugs! 🙂 The house is old and in need of repairs. Everyone has their own standards of "clean" and this rental was not up to my standards. Dirty windows, dishes not clean, showers didn't seem clean and they are desperately needing repair. Street noise made sleeping upstairs difficult. I suggest ear plugs if you're not used to street noise. Neighborhood pool area is clean but it is not close. However, it is a beautiful walk to get to the pool. Overall, it was ok. Could be cleaner.

Secure location with 24 hour security. Arrived to rental and spent 1st day cleaning. Could not find way to keep ants controlled! Kids terrified of bugs in house for our week stay.

Everything was updated besides the kitchen and bathrooms. We would stay again.

Property was in a great setting. Felt safe inside the gated community. The floors needed to be cleaner. I was not expecting to buy glasses and silverware, toilet paper and paper towels before uNpacking. Understood “limited supplies” how ever there should at least have enough for 10 people. Since we were in California for the Rose Parade, this unit was okay. We only had breakfast there. Plenty of room for the six of us.

Nice choice for a family with older children. Stairs and hard flooring would make it tough for toddlers (3 of 4 bedrooms are upstairs). This condo is on a quiet gated street but backs onto a busy street. There are fans the owners has provided to generate white noise and as a light sleeper I had zero problems sleeping using a fan. The owners have laid beautiful new tile in downstairs kitchen & hallway. Other bedroom & living room have beautiful wood looking new vinyl plank flooring. Bathroom floors have older linoleum and cabinetry and bath fixtures need to be updated (master bath fan went out during our stay, faucets are 70s style). Hot water heater kept up with 7 of us with no problems. Kitchen has modern stainless major appliances, but is sparsely outfitted if you plan to cook and feed a large group. It does have an extra folding table & chairs besides what is in dining room. Water pressure for filtered tap & fridge water is super low. Owner is very responsive and came right away to fix the furnace (pilot was out) and look at bath fan and is very respectful and friendly. Home is well kept and with a few more updates like to the bathrooms it would be outstanding. WiFi is excellent. Living room furniture comfortable and clean. TV in living room small and though newer, is not a smart TV and programs were all in Chinese. No DVD player or cable. No card or board games. Basketball and tennis courts were nice (BYO ball, racquets). Pool not heated so too chilly in December but Jacuzzi was nice. Modern front loading washer & dryer in garage were a nice feature we really appreciated. No extra towels or blankets are provided. Overall we had a great stay and would choose th8s home again.

Beds comfortable No can opener or regular dish soap (we purchased) available. Bathroom faucets faulty (spraying water), Batteries in TV remote died, bathroom fans not working well, ice maker faulty, no TV selection, very minimal supplies; patio not maintained. It served our purpose for this trip. Thank you.

This townhouse has 4 large bedrooms and 3 full baths...and everything you need for your stay. Condo was clean, neat and tidy. Lin, the owner was prompt to return correspondence and answer questions. Thank you for making our stay comfortable and easy. We will definitely stay again and give our referral to others looking to stay in Hacienda Heights, CA.

Pretty good layout of the space for families. Most light switches are at extremely low height from the floor, not good for 1-2 years old toddlers. Floors can use good cleaning for bare-footed people to stay also. Bare minimum house supplies provided.

such a peaceful gated community very quiet so much privacy!!! me and 5 friends stayed here comfortably with a room left over! 10/10 would recommend if i had any problems over the weekend i knew i could message owner for questions!! all food and walmart and every store you could need is less than a mile away also not more than 20 mins from the beach!!

We had a small problem which the owner addressed right away. The house is cute and big enough for our family but right behind it was a very busy street that made it hard for me to sleep. I loved the security of a gated community with shared amenities such as the pool and hot tub. I also loved that it was close to lots of stores/restaurants.

This is a beautiful house that has lots of room (5 of us) and is in a great location for all sightseeing. Beds are really comfortable and the lounge and dining area is great for socialising. The washing and drying facilities are spot on as is the garage as it fitted our Tahoe perfectly. The gated community felt safe. The access is easy and simple. The pool and tennis courts fabulous. Lin, is a great host and responds very fast, and wants to make your trip successful. She even allowed us a late checkout which was fantastic. Our only slight improvement opportunities would be to have the house cleaner as in dust free with some more detailed guidance information and supplies. (Great for all attractions; Be aware that LA has hideous, notoriously bad traffic. If it says it's approx 20 miles away then be prepared to sit in traffic for 2 hrs to get there. Sometimes changing your satnav from fast to short to beat some of the queues especially the freeways).
