A propos de ce maisonrental
Garden District Upscale Home w/Gated Parking

We had a wonderful stay at this rental which is a beautiful updated & modern home with lots of space and plentiful amenities. The bedrooms were all nice and had very comfortable beds.
The location of this house is amazing, easy to get to, good parking and located in a quiet & beautiful neighborhood. Evening strolls around the block were ideal for looking at some of the amazing garden district homes. The short walk to the street car line was a big draw for us. Proximity to the NOLA hotspots was also a plus and it was nice to be able to quickly get to the other major neighborhoods (ie French quarter, warehouse district or CBD) quickly, but be far enough away to not be bothered by the night life scene.
The owner was very communicative and accommodating as well and went above and beyond to make our stay nice and comfortable.
Highly recommend renting this property to anyone visiting New Orleans.

Home is conveniently located near streetcar line, close proximity to garden district, downtown and french quarter. Bedrooms are roomy with 2 king and 2 queen beds. Off street parking for 2 vehicles is a plus. Kitchen was missing some basics such as salt, pepper, etc. Storage of kitchen utensils, glassware and pots/pans is somewhat disorganized. A/C system works well to keep entire home cool and comfortable.

My family and friends stayed in this property for the St. Patrick's Day Celebrations. We were so happy with the location and comfort of this house. The house was immaculately clean upon arrival with nice touches that other vrbo properties don't always offer (extra toilet paper; toiletries; tea/coffee; cleaning supplies). The beds were super comfortable and the linens were of high quality. The decks and patio were so relaxing to have a morning coffee or evening drink on. The location is perfect with access to the street car and for any parades on St. Charles. Magazine Street is an easy walk with lots of shops and restaurants. Make sure to reach out to Michele, she is a gem and is super helpful. Wish we could have visited her at Shaya, but we ran out of time. Ubers were always quick to arrive. We did some shopping at Rouse's Market, great food store. I would absolutely stay here again, we all had a fantastic time. Thank you very much for allowing us to use your house
Tip: Not related to the house but if you get any door dash delivered, make sure to check your order before the driver leaves, we had 2 out of 3 deliveries completely wrong and the drivers are not keen to return to fix the issue.

The house was lovely, it was close to the trolley line, and easy to get around town.

The house was beautiful, clean, well maintained, and well stocked. Everything was exactly as advertised and more! Craig was also very helpful every step of the way. We will be renting again in the future!

This is a great four bedroom house with room for everyone to have their own space or for gathering in the great room and eat big meals together. Comfortable beds, very clean, lots of pots and pans, great porches and outdoor seating area in the back. WiFi was weak but I think they are working on that. Need a few more comfortable places to sit in the living room. Need better shower heads. Overall, though, it was really a great place to stay for a week!!

This property was perfect for our family trip.

We really enjoyed our stay, The location was very convenient to bars and restaurants, we walked to Magazine and most of what we wanted to do. This large property met all of our needs for 5 adults and one baby.

The rooms were very nice, and the appointments were as well. The beds were nice. My mother, sister, and my two boys and husband and I were meeting with extended family and some family friends as my father passed recently, and we went to let people say goodbye, and to spread his ashes at places of import to him.
It was a lovely place to let people we hadn't seen in a very long time come sit and chat for a bit.
There was a block party with food trucks on the corner by the bar in the middle of our trip - it was a nice surprise, and I had been away from NOLA so long, I'd forgotten they sell alcohol on the street sometimes, we almost went to the wrong food truck for snow cones for the kids. :)
Craig was very responsive to some inquiries I had prior to our trip, and offered some solutions to try to accommodate us should we need them. Overall, it was a great visit.

My sisters and I stayed here for an annual trip. The home is absolutely beautiful! Exactly as described in the listing. So much history in the area and there is so much to do! Everything is in walking distance too! The only suggestion we had is perhaps to install a peep hole in the front door. But that would be it. We appreciated very much the security system too. Should we come back to New Orleans we would LOVE to stay here again! Craig was so accommodating and Michelle was also amazing!

We were in New Orleans to celebrate our son's wedding. This house had a wonderful spacious feel for our group of 7. We all had very comfortable bedrooms, two of them with their own baths attached, and the large open kitchen/dining/living room was just what we wanted for being able to spend time together when we weren't out and about. The back patio space was wonderful for a pizza dinner we had with my son's new wife's family--it seats 20! The front balconies (upstairs and down) were wonderful for morning coffee. We walked to Magazine Street and the St. Charles street car frequently, and it's a pleasant walk. It was quiet at night. I highly recommend this house--it really worked out ideally for us. One more thing--there is another unit in the house and that is where my son's new mother-in-law and two of her children stayed. That was such a convenient extra perk for us--to be able to operate out of the same base, but in our own spaces.

Perfect amount of space for 4 couples to enjoy. It was conveniently located next to great food, shops, tours, WWII museum and anything else you can think of.

We had 8 ladies coming to New Orleans and wanted to stay in the Garden District. This house was perfect. Everyone had plenty of room and we could all gather around the table and kitchen. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of bathroom space for everyone. The upstairs balcony was wonderful in the evening. The Trolley was only 2 blocks. We could not have asked for a better place. Craig was very helpful in giving us restaurant ideas and activities around town. When we told him we were coming to celebrate a couple of ladies birthdays, he even had cakes waiting for us when we arrived. He really went above and beyond. He helped make it a very special weekend that we will treasure!

Fantastic property for our weekend stay in Nola. We had a group of 6 guys and everyone was comfortable.
We wanted a place that was in a relatively quiet neighborhood that was close enough to the action, and this place was perfect. Bourbon street was a quick Uber ride away.
The house was clean and Craig was responsive throughout the weekend. Would definitely stay here again!

Enjoy the home and stay in New Orleans. Thank God that the air conditioning worked great here as the heat index for our stay was pushing 120F outside. Beds were comfortable.
Enjoyed the home. It was a great central point for traveling in New Orleans. Just off ST. Charles and 10 mins max to the french quarter.
Only recommendation would be to add pantry items for basic supplies like salt, pepper, spices, laundry detergent, etc.. and some instructions (booklet) on the house like garbage day, check in / check out instructions, how to use remote etc.

The pictures don't do the home justice! Great place. Location very easy to catch the trolley, straight ride to bourbon street. Safe neighborhood. Most comfortable bed I've slept in. Great amenities on property. Would highly recommend and stay there again. Thanks Craig!

The hosts were wonderful to work with — accommodating to requests in unexpected and thoughtful ways.
The house is in a lovely, convenient and relatively quiet area. It is two blocks to St. Charles Avenue (and streetcar transportation) and just a couple of miles to the French Quarter and Central Business District.
The house is perfect for large groups. It is spacious, clean, and well appointed. The beds are comfortable. There is off-street parking and plentiful on street parking as well.
The house has a lovely balcony with chairs and tables as well as a furnished patio that can accommodate a decent size group. This was a perfect place for our large family to stay and use as a home base during a weekend of wedding events ranging from Uptown to French Quarter locations.

Beautiful house in a great central location Surrounding area a little run down , but appears to be improving. Owners were very helpful and easy to work with. Only housekeeping issue was that floors needed to be cleaned.

Simply put, this property is a GEM!!. It sleeps 8 adults very comfortably and has the capacity to sleep many more. The house has EVERY possible aspect of your own home with the exception of food and personal toiletries.
LOCATION: Fantastic. Two blocks from ST Charles St. 10 minute walk from Magazine ST. 11 minute Lyft/Uber ride from Bubon ST.
Well stocked convenience/liquor store ~300 yards. away.
PROPERTY: 4 Large bedrooms, great family and dining room. Fully stock kitchen with all the amenities. HUGH backyard that can easily host 25 people for BBQ. We used the grill 3 times.
HOST: Craig and Renee are a dream to work with. Any questions and all requirements we had were met with IMMEDIATE attention and kindness. JUST THE GREATEST PEOPLE!!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Craig’s house. The rental was clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful family weekend. It is often hard to find a four bedroom rental that has the bedroom layout that we need and this worked out really well. The location near the wedding venue on Saint Charles Avenue was perfect. We were able to walk to many things easily, including the street car station. Thank you, Craig.

The house is nice, good location between the districts of New Orleans, plenty of space for a big family. Owner was responsive to our questions and provided us with advance information. The house needs a little maintenance but, all in all, an enjoyable experience.

Easy to communicate with owner. Clean. We’ll equipped. Perfect for our group. Close to st Charles for trolley. Couldn’t have been getter for our party.

We had 3 couples staying at the property and there was plenty of room to accommodate more. The beds were so comfortable and everything worked perfectly. The back garden was a great place to hang out in the fresh air and enjoy some drinks and snacks.
The neighborhood has lots of character with friendly people. The Red Zone does have basic food items and a large selection of wine, beer, and other spirits. The pub on the corner is a dive bar but the people are so friendly and the drinks are very affordable. Just a couple blocks away you have an above ground cemetery that you can walk through if you like as well as St Charles is just a couple blocks away. Easy to get Ubers and basically you are 15 minute drive to just about anywhere.
Thanks Craig, we really enjoyed our time at your property.

Our family of eight--3 teens and 5 adults--found this to be a very comfortable and convenient place to stay for our visit to New Orleans. It was central to all of the activities that we wanted to do, within walking distance of the streetcar, and there were many restaurants nearby for those times we didn't want to venture into the French Quarter. The owner was easy to communicate with and responsive when I had questions. We enjoyed sitting outside in the backyard and on the wraparound balcony after long days of sightseeing adventures. My only suggestions would be to add cushions to the outdoor furniture, and to put a comfy club chair in the master bedroom. ;) Overall, a great lodging choice for our large group.

We enjoyed our stay for a family wedding in the Barronne St Home. The home was clean and had everything we needed. It was located close to St. Charles St and the trolley street car. Craig was great at replying quickly to any information we needed.

Our adult children and spouses and ourselves. Had a great time. House well setup for the 6 of us and would have handled more with ease. Felt safe and secure there and easy walk to trolly and ride shared had no problem. Great stay

Excellent location we had so much fun!

Clean and comfortable. Closets had extra toot brushes, shampoo, and shaving gear. I liked the gate around the property including the driveway gate. The neighborhood is definitely transitioning with abandoned homes mixed with newly renovated one. The pedestrian traffic to and from the neighborhood bar on the far cornere was "interesting."

My family celebrated my mom's 60th birthday here. Great property and very very nice hosts.
You will need to take an Uber or the trolley into town, but it saves on the housing in the long run if you have a larger group like ours.
Thanks for having us!

The property is great. My only complaint is that it would have been helpful to know the washing machine wasn't working while packing for the trip. Our stay was wonderful, and the hosts were very gracious in letting us adjust our dates when we needed to. We would definitely stay here again

This was a beautiful well stocked house for our sibling reunion and Thanksgiving. Very comfortable with everything we needed. Thank you Craig!

This was the perfect house for our “friends’ football weekend.” We had 7 people so everyone had plenty of room to roam. Location is excellent - very walkable to the street cars. House was super clean. Lots of towels & toiletries available.
Would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

We loved staying at the Faubourg Livaudais property for Family Weekend. The house felt like home with so many thoughtful details. We walked to Magazine St on Saturday morning, enjoyed the day at Tulane, and relaxed on the balcony at the property before dinner. It was absolutely a perfect space to enjoy with family and friends.

Great house! Great stay!
This was a great spot for me and my friends! We went during essence festival and the house was within very close distance to everywhere we needed to be. The host was very welcoming, helpful and attentive to anything we needed. I would stay here anytime I am traveling with a large group of people!
