Very close to train station and five minutes walk to the centre so perfect for me, excellent breakfast included in price and very friendly staff.

At 2.30...ish, in the middle of the night, the smoke alarm went off so we had a few minutes of chaos but the staff were very apologetic the next morning and were not sure what caused the alarm to trigger, it wasn't a guest they said and it had never happened before. Sometimes strange things happen, i would have given an eight but for this incident.

Room was good .Hotel was built in 1866 and was a officer's residence in WW2 for the Germans and later for the Americans.The woodwork on ground level is amazing.Central railway station is just over the road.Staff excellent. Breakfast perfekt. 15 minutes from nightlife and shops. Carpark for €7.50 a day

The location is very good, just few steps from the train station and very close to the center of the town. The staff was very helpful. Beds were comfortable, the room was clean.

No air conditioner in the room, we were at the ground floor and could not open the window as people were passing outside, very close to it.

A bit old employee man was at the reception when I arrived, he was not polite and he welcomed me in a very bad way,,, When I arrived there was no one at the reception desk so I rang the bell once and there was no response from anyone I waited for 5 minutes and then I rang the bell the second time then after a time around 3 min the employee receptionist came to me and started to objecting and he was blaming me that why I did ring the bell twice with a very bad and unprofessional way, and when I explained to him the reason, he didn’t apologize for that, he is very bad receptionist employee and he should be trained how to deal with guests, this employee will be the reason for not to booking this hotel again, I do not recommend this hotel at all as long as this receptionist still has the same behavior with guests

One of the more affordable hotels in the city. Friendly staff, good breakfast, comfortable bed, it's usually quiet.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, located well for transport links (opposite train station) and not too far out of town for the restaurants and bars. Served us well for a 1 night stay en-route to Hannover from the UK

Rooms a little dated, not the most comfortable beds but you get what you pay for I suppose!

Rooms are old. Windows don’t have double gladd.
