handy location and good parking. rooms are functional and clean

quite noisey as the hotel caters to large groups including school groups- ask for a quiet room away from lift and not a above the conference / function rooms which are on ground floor

it’s advertised as dog friendly but the only place your dog can be is in your room, so we had an evening meal outside (cold and by a busy road) and coffee in the morning in the same place, cold and uncomfortable, we did not consider breakfast as had to eat it outside! surely a dog friendly hotel should have a separate place to eat for dog owners, we felt like complete outcasts and would never stay there again.

The hotel looked nice with some lovely decor.

The staff need to improve their level of service.

Rooms were very clean and comfty - our short stay was sadly let down by the reception staff who were abrupt and unhelpful

Basic but clean

The whole hotel was lovely, clean, the staff where every helpful. The food was good quality beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. The bedroom was a lovely size, the bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay.

Reception was very helpful. I had booked a wrong date via booking.com and this was changed in a very obliging manner. Hotel is very good managed and perfect if one arrives by car, as it is not in the center of the village.
