The property was immaculate. All staff should be proud of how the hotel was presented. Outstanding!

You could hear noise from neighbouring properties (music) but to be fair I think most of Cala Gonone could hear. Nothing too bad though.

La colazione, non all’altezza di un 4 stelle superior. C’erano solo mele e kiwi come frutta fresca e ananas e prugne sciroppate. Alcuni pezzetti di anguria sono stati aggiunti gli ultimi giorni. Mancava un tovagliolo per tagliare la baguette (in modo da non toccarla). Ottima scelta di cereali. Cappuccino e caffè a disposizione degli ospiti tramite le macchinette che si trovano di solito all’estero. Disponibilità di averli “espressi” a pagamento. Peccato che a pranzo non sia disponibile un servizio di light lunch a bordo piscina.

Amazing pool, restaurant and gardens. A must if you are in Cala Gonone.

We loved our stay at Resort Nuraghe Arvu!! Perfect spot for a holiday with family. The pool was great, with the beautiful surroundings. Very close to the beach and lively streets with shops and restaurants. The hotel staff was so nice and very helpful:)

Eugenio on the front desk is hands down the best concierge I have ever dealt with. Personable, well-informed, highly professional but engaging - he is an absolute asset. Stamps? No problem! Eat like a local - great recommendations Day trip - excellent advice. Whilst this is something of a family resort we found it excellent in its class and we didn't have to fight for space around the lovely pool. We enjoyed our day out on the boat. I would return to this hotel.

A very well presented hotel with a nice pool and mountain backdrop. Great breakfast.

It is a fair walk to restaurants and the sea front / beach (mostly up hill on the way back). The on site restaurant was a bit too expensive for dinner.

There was no hot water in my room when I tried to shower my first night there. They tried to fix it, but it wasn't properly fixed. I had to leave the shower running for about 15 minutes every night before it would even get warm in order to shower. EDIT: Response to the hotel's response below. When I notified the night porter of the issue with the hot water, he said he would look into changing a room for me. However, when he checked the room that I would've moved to (the only room he told me that was available for the same amount of nights I was there), he said that the hot water was also not working in that room. So there would've been no point in me moving from a room with no hot water to another room with no hot water. That was the only time I was offered a room change. So I don't think it's fair that they said I didn't accept the offer and "showed only irritation and impoliteness", because this wasn't really an offer - it would've been the same situation! They said they "were quick to try and solve the inconvenience". I said in my original review that they tried to fix it, but it wasn't properly fixed. I had to leave the shower running for about 15 minutes every night before it would get warm to shower. Which is true! I even told them of that, both after it was "fixed" and when I left. I thanked them for the shuttle service. I thanked both the lady at reception who organised it and the driver. That is a complete lie that they said I didn't! I never wrote anything nasty in my review about the staff. I never had an issue with the staff - just the facilities. So I think it's really insulting and unfair they have decided to say such nasty personal things, when I said nothing of the sort. Besides the hot water, I thought all of my interactions with the staff were fine. Their need to stoop so low, LIE, and resort to cattiness is just nasty and spiteful.
