The location.
The room wasn’t aired before we arrived and the window looked over a concrete dome/roof and the back of the building opposite. We had to leave the windows open at night but felt unsafe as anyone could step into the room from the roof outside.
Also, the shower tray didn’t drain properly. Had to turn the water off to stop it going onto the floor. Finally, the floor covering in the toilet hadn’t been laid/stuck down properly.

Very suitable location for sight seeing at Fougere. Room was a good size and we liked the bathroom set up. Breakfast was average. We booked parking which worked ok in a very busy location. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Central location, ideal for a night's stop over.
The Hotel is located on a busy road junction, but the morning bustle gets you up and going.

Very comfortable bed and great outlook from the balcony overlooking the front of the hotel. The bathroom was also very nice with a good shower. The common areas are light and airy. The hotel were able to accommodate our request for secure parking.
Nothing in particular, The restaurant menu was a bit limited but I suspect that was probably due to it being late in the season.

The hotel is easy to reach on the outskirt of town and it is just around the corner from the castle and the centre. There were quite a few restaurants nearby and it is easy to find your way. The family room was spacious and it was well suited to the four of us.
We were most disappointed with the lack of a car charger even though we were told there was one. They pointed to a wall socket in the garage.
On arrival, the restaurant was closed as was the main entrance (so we thought), but there is a different entrance just around the corner.

This was an overnight stop en route for Caen. The room was great, the bathroom really clean and welcoming. The mattress was super comfortable (often not the case in many hotels). We booked a space in the garage which was part of the hotel (extra cost, but worth it). The hotel is in the centre of town, so close to a few bars, eating places and shops. All in all reccomended.
